The Sims 2 launch trailer was totally cinematic trailers done right, lol. Even if the interactions were just animations and not gameplay. They were so hilarious. I think in the first initial launch trailer they were trying to show the generational aspect of sims 2. In sims 1 you lived forever at one age (adult or child) and there was no birth and growing up (minus babies turning into kids). So having that in game presented a huge shift in the game.
Let's be honest the sims 2 is the best, sims 3 right behind it and sims 4... I pretty much banished that shit straight into the basement lol I'm sorry but the sims 4 isn't fun anymore 😅 🙃

The Sims 2 pets was my favorite!!! I didn’t even know they had a holiday pack. I do miss The Sims being more cheeky/adult.
Holy mother of pearl! This is the trailer that got me into the sims into the first place!
Ahh the early 2000s vibes is so nostalgic
the first trailer were lost due a fire, so they need to remade it, but it was the orginal 1st sims 2 trailer.
Bruh I was having this idea queen

Just look at how much gameplay was in ONE pack!! And 100 plus items was common. And every pack was game changing.
