It's still hard for me to wrap my mind around Howies age. I'm not sure why because I have been watching him my whole life 😂. Maybe it's just because he looks so good and doesn't have the typical vibe of someone his age.
Anyway, I'm 49 and I hope that someday I will be able to vote for Mr. Beast for Potus. Just imagine how much better off we'd be and the change for the following generations would be epic. He couldn't be bought. He'd drive the youth vote through the roof and get rid of the out-of-touch old geezers in the House and Senate. That's the world I want for my children and grandchildren.
I pray when I'm 59, I'll be voting for Jimmy!

Howie, please get three cameras, stick them on tripods, and then edit the video to switch between speakers and out to both of you. The zooming in and out is killing me with one camera. You have no idea how many people get motion sickness. I've been in the entertainment industry for 24 years. You don't want your audience to be turned off by bad camera work.

Every youtuber I have seen who has claimed they can get x amount of views in x of time on a hidden channel never comes close.
Now, in the case of mr beast, if the ONLY think hes doing is not showing his face, he probably COULD get millions of subscribers.
But is he using his multimillion dollar studio? is he paying 10 various people to work on the channel? is he using contacts with businesses to to get large contracts out of the gate?
If he made a hidden channel, has a very small budget to spend on hiring other people, works with no companies that know who he is etc, then how many would he get?
Im sure he could get a lot.Much more than a random new youtube, like 100X the amount. but i bet it wouldnt be close to 20 million.
Im sure he will never see this, but Jimmy, I challenge you to do this as a project. View it as a potential learning experience and also proving yourself even beyond what you have. Like I said, i know you could get a lot of subscribers. But ok, Imagine you are a random person, who wants to do youtube as a business. You are approaching it as a small business, so you have 30,000 dollars to spend to make this work, basically your life savings, if you are a young person. Since you are busy with real life, lets say you can also spend another 30,000 on one unknown editor to be a partial replacement for you not being able to work on the hidden channel as much as you would if this was real, because you are dealing with your real empire. You have this one editor, yourself, and another 30k to do with as you please. get 20 million subscribers under these restrictions.
Otherwise, yeah, duh, you can obvious go contact the leading professional editors, pay them ungodly amounts of money, and promote your channel with a few million dollars and get to millions of subscribers without showing your face. But so could warren buffet, or billgates or jeff bezos...

@@justinc3271i like to stay in reality friend, I've accomplished a lot by that vs being delusional. I have many friends who have gotten huge on UA-cam, none of them went into it looking to get big, they just wanted to have fun and had something to say. I'm not looking to get famous, i am looking to help others on a one on one level or through streaming. I do good for myself now and will continue to do what i enjoy with people i enjoy working with. I have that luxury right now most people don't.
Jimmy is very much an anomaly and if anyone thinks otherwise they aren't thinking. a lot of it is working hard at the right place at the right time. I remember him saying once if he started now with no knowledge he wouldn't be able to do it again. He had supportive parents and obsessed from a young age. Most people aren't that lucky. I have family in the entertainment industry and most people i know who have 'made it' say there's a LOT of luck at play in addition to a lot of work, but mostly luck because for every 1000 people who try only 1 earns a living wage (honestly this is probably generous odds). There's a reason why don't quit your day job is a saying. Go for your dreams, but make them realistic and be smart about your growth and build. While yes there are certain things and tactics you can do to 'go viral,' but you still need a following of sorts to inject into the algorithm or have money. It is very much possible to build a channel from nothing and i'd say that you have more of a chance making a living off of youtube or twitch than pursuing traditional media at this point. But it is still difficult to earn a living wage.

Then he applied what he learned to take on other markets and learned from his failures. Watching him give Howie an impromptu masterclass in how to market his videos on UA-cam was brilliant.
