A really unconventional choice of songs to match up, but it works so amazingly well. A more naïve musician might have just said, "ok, let me mash up the two most hype songs from each series... that'll be MM2 Wily 1, and UN Owen." Maybe that could be made to work, but you chose this pairing for musical reasons instead, and the result speaks for itself. I still stand by MM2 Wily 1; it's overplayed, but it's overplayed for a reason, it's fucking good. It's always great to hear a fresh take on it!
