This is electronic that the world must see. I cry everytime I see tommorowland DJ's playing original tracks with CDJ's and here you are, the investment, the time, live performance and jam. truly beautiful.
I came here for the 20th time this year. What an amazing piece of art. Trying my best, but your monostation is sounding so awesome, I just can’t figure it out. Fantastic.
The main difference among this guy and others, is simply one: he makes music with creativeness. Others just make boring noises with the same equipment. Congrats !!
You really outdid yourself on this one. 32:58 is one of your greatest builds I've heard. In fact it's one of the greatest electronic builds I've ever heard period. If this set is not on Band Camp yet, please, please release it!
Damn dude! This is hands down the best Electro/synth music I’ve heard. You need to be paid in full for this! Not only is the music great, the sounds you design are off the charts good! Thank you!
Oooh new tunes, hope this means a new Bandcamp release :) Got your 3 releases that are up. My girl and I love your stuff. She made me put it all on her phone so she can listen to it on her way to and from work.
So chuffed yr into the tunes - thanks x infinity for supporting my releases it means the world, and even better that the music is something that can be shared. Super appreciate it! :D
Dude. Finally got round to watching some of your older stuff, this is incredible. The fact that it's mixed on that tiny mixer as well, every time I watch one of your videos I feel like I learn something as well as enjoy the tunes. I've just bought myself a circuit after watching this, done everything in a DAW so far but I'm slowly getting more into hardware jamming and that is largely influenced by seeing what you can do.
Every time I listen to this it gets better - I like the way it sounds like a personal journey rather than music conforming to a genre. Just goes to show it's not the kit but the artist, however, I would like to see what magic you can weave with the latest updates to the Peak :)
I just wanted to tell you that you are an inspiration for me ! Each time i quit making music i come back to this I'm getting inspired to make music again :) thanks for being my muse as well as a f*cking good producer 😍
You know your Strymons, you know your Peak, and you know your chord progressions. Looking forward to a bandcamp album on the peak stuff. Very nice music...
I bet you get lots of requests for a video tutorial on your set up and work flow and I would like to add another request for this. Great music. I'd love to see how you put it all together.
ash eff thank you mate. In fact you're the second request ever! It's so damn simple and boring I can't imagine anyone finding it interesting but I'll do one for sure. Stay tuned! Thanks fr stopping by :)
well, here's another one then :D You should make a video tutorial on your set up and work flow. This sounds so good it's hard to believe it's not entirely produced in a DAW.
I'm definitely interested in the 'composition workflow' tut you suggested you might make. Great tunes here. Super impressed and happy to find your music. Just bought your latest on Bandcamp. Got it on repeat! :)
Nice work as always! Have you thought about making a tutorial video on how you set up these live sets and how you connect and sequence all this hardware? I'd just like to know how this all comes together
REALLY LIKE YOUR MUSIC - NOT AS someone on you tube who jams live but compared to famous bands like Aes Dana and Carbon based lifeforms and HUVA etc etc etc - even when compared to them your stuff is very good even as good as...you totally deserve a proper album deal...
DUUUDE this is an incredible jam. You know these instruments so well. As an owner of a peak, a MS, and a circuit I still cant figure out how you are getting some of those tones. I love the PEAK so much but I would love if you could do a tutorial on getting some of those sounds. Especially that fat one around 13:00 min. Its so lush and warm! Anyways, I love the music you make and watch all the videos you make, keep them coming!!!
Super impressive. Im a long time software only producer and I'm on a out of the box journey. Currently have a Circuit that's tons of fun but limited. Can't wait to add some friends for it. I think my next purchase is going to be a peak and then some sort of complex sampler/sequencer to get complex percussion/rhtym. This was inspirational for real.
Hey mate - thanks for stopping by. Super happy you enjoyed the tunes and the vid - sounds like you're well on your way to a lifetime of self-satisfied synthesizer induced poverty. Welcome! Circuit is a super powerful box that really reward digging deeply with - it can seem limited, but don't be fooled! Set up a bunch of patches with the editor, and make sure you've got the newest firmware to really wring every last drop out of it. It's a powerful master sequencer too. I'm so glad that my little bit of noise can serve as useful inspiration to you - that's what it's all about :)
@@MichaalHell IM NOT CONVINCED lots of fancy gear is needed if you have good ears - i doubt this would sound much better if it was mixed at abbey road with thousands spent on stereo summing...im sure it would sound a bit better but for the huge effort not worth it...all that stuff is for bands massively popular with huge sales...this guy is good enough for big sales in this genre but not unless a label promotes him which i dont think they are...
I'm finally sold on the Circuit and Mono Station, but can you get smooth/chilled sounds out of a Peak instead of just the "abrasive" tones in a lot of your material?
Hey Ehsan. Is there a full version of the song at 4:36 on the Bandcamp albums? I think I heard the chords as a snippet on "A Very Long Week" but wondering if there’s a full version. I’ve got all the albums but trying to locate it. Love it! :)
Hey mate! I don't actually think there is - and I don't think I ever recorded this set off. So perhaps I should? There's an album's worth hiding in this (and prob a few others) - so if I get to this stay tuned, I'll pop something up somewhere to let you and the world know :)
Always love your videos and tunes, man! As I see, Circuit is just getting the clock in and plays own sequences, but Mono Station gets sequences from Digitakt, right? Only thing I don't get is how do you chain all those patterns, but I guess it's a Digitakt thing hehe. Keep up the AWESOME job!
Thanks for stopping by mate! Mono Station is self-sequenced as well, just like Circuit - again clocked off Digitakt like everything else. There's actually a midi thru box hiding underneath distributing the clock to everything. So both circuits play themselves, and Digitakt plays drums and sequences Peak :)
Cheers buddy! And I guess the reason is that Circuit has better sequencer, right? (Sorry for storm of questions, still figuring out what would be a best setup for me hehe :)
Don't be sorry! Not a drama. Certainly not a case of better - just different, and just what i used at the time - really as a matter of convenience and happenstance. Does it make the music any better which seq I used? Nah - it really was just a crime of convenience. Both are excellent little sequencer engines, and both do different things. :)
What an awesome, interesting and chilled out jam. Thanks for sharing. Can see you've got a behringer mixer in there.... does it do a decent job? Thanks again!
Looprovisation thanks heaps! The little mixer is great. Ultra cheap, super tiny, does what it says on the tin and I never even think about it. Snobs be damned. :)
Bit late to reply sorry! But all in it takes me between 1 and 5 days to get my sets together. It's really dependent on the state of the muse, but if I'm firing I'll usually knock them off in 2 days. A few have happened in 1, and sometimes I'll grind for a week on it and just make nothin but turds. It's wildly variable!
@@EhsanGelsi Oh, nevermind, I just watched your "setup" video, you are sending program changes which explains some transitions I've noticed there on the Peak without you fiddling the knobs... Btw, forgot to express kudos. KUDOS!
Ah cool. It's all thrus in this vid, but I use the Quadra so I can add extra things like the modular which don't have a thru, cos the chain ends at the timeline which has no thru so in this vid it's just digitakt out-peak thru-Circuit thru-CMS thru-timeline.
Reid Mclellan Ha true! Prob one of my best musical investments tho - they're so fabulous, and can transform any boring old thing into something captivating and detailed. They've made more than a few of my dreadful noises sounds less offensive! Even a wrong note can be forgiven with a liberal dose of big sky... Or prolong it and make it a thousand times worse!
Reid Mclellan there are in fact several drum and percussion patches on the factory banks - it's certainly capable of giving great results in that dept!

Love the timing on the riff that comes in around 4:38! Well done mate, really nice tunes to sit back and enjoy.
Fantastic blend of sound, melody and machine. Brilliant!
Absolutely awesome! I could listen to the first track a thousand times!

I can't believe you're mixing all of this on that tiny mixer.
Ha! I promise you I am! :)
ChasingDogma it’s just ridiculous how good it sounds.
the units that make the music all have volume and eq so why do you need a huge mixer when you can do everything, pan etc you name on the units...
GB3770 for stereo summing I would presume.

Reid Mclellan correct!
In fact I was running a long chain of thru then I swapped out for a 4 way midi thru box. Midi solutions quadrathru.
