Nothing is wrong with singing, especially singing to the Lord. But the audience have perfect harmonies. That is one of the most tentative audience is ever heard.
THIS is how you engage with the audience you don't just point the mic their way and make them sing your words. Have them contribute to your music! This is just wonderful, I found myself dancing along to it, it was so good.
wow... I think the most impressive thing about that was how in tune and responsive the audience was. As someone who's performed a little bit of a cappella, I usually try to stray away from "audience participation" parts, because they're easy to screw up. But the audience does a pretty good job keeping tempo and following along. PROPS
+Bok Choy When Pentatonix were in Offenbach this year, they did something very similar with us. It was a regular crowd of PTX fans, really. Talking to other fans before and after the show, we discovered that a lot of PTX fans are or were choir singers or play other traditionally classical instruments, but are thirsting for a fresh wind, a more modern touch. PTX gave all of us just that. You simply have musical people in a crowd of PTX fans. They sort of are "a bunch of us", aren't they? So of course their crowds will always sound awesome. :)
Is there any other musical act that has an audience who's as awesome as PTX fans? Because that was pretty badass how Avi and Kevin were able to get the entire audience to participate, and badass how well the audience actually responded and were in tune throughout.
Am I the only one who thinks it would be amazing to have the meat and potatoes show? They are great with audiences and never fail to make me laugh. It would be great

The people correcting either want to give you a heads up, or being spiteful to show their superiority and that's only their toxic problem. And tbh your only mistake was using present simple for the expression "couldn't have *said* it better". So you are even more in the clear!

Unlike other singers,ptx truly care about their fans,they not seeing the audiance,they are seeing family,the family that believe in the five most important member of that family.
This is even more amazing to experience in person. If you haven't seen PTX live, I strongly suggest you do. They will blow your mind with everything they do, not to mention they're even more awesome live!

When Pentatonix came to Portugal in March for their european tour, the audience SANG FOR THEM TO COME BACK. They had left the stage, they were backstage already. Check "Pentatonix Coliseu dos Recreios Audience sings On My Away Home" . It was amazing. Kirstie seemed like she was almost crying.
Given Kevin's history with some association with Bobby McFerrin, Bobby's audience exercise with the pentatonic scale and the band's name of Pentatonix, it would be really epic to have him do something with that theme.
