HI.Both of these Corona Accordions are made in China. Hohner stopped producing the classic in Germany a couple of years ago. The only diatonic accordions being made in Germany is the corona CII, corona tigeres del norte and the corona xtreme.
Maybe you aren’t aware but the Chinese make great quality instruments these days. Not surprised I guess since Chinese civilization is thousands of years old compared to a few hundred years USA for example.
@@TheProdigyAccordion Well, yeah, you can hear the difference - the red one has a much brighter tone. However, if you mean "different keys (G as opposed to C or D) then the difference in quality is even more pronounced. $400 difference in price based on a piece of wood is still ludicrous.
How much do they cost
Great video. Compare the Corolla classic vs C-II or Xtreme
Thank you for this video. Is there an equivalent in a piano accordion? Same physical size, same range of notes?
Both made in Germany?
I wish someone would answer this. I have the same question!

Love your videos, I think you should compare corona 2 and corona 3,
Thanks for the feedback! Will definitely be doing an in-depth comparison between the corona II and corona III in the future.
hello! repair accordions. I have one that stays the button stuck.
Easy fix just adjust the arm👍🏼
Do the bass keys make sound? Would be nice to hear.
Also, are either of these made in Germany or is it chinese crap?

I guess they don't have a bass strap adjusting mechanism
All of the Corona models have an adjustable left hand bass strap mechanism.
The classic sounds a lot better in this videos
you couldn't get two in the same key? i knew they were going to be in different keys smh
The red one has a much brighter sound.
A $400 difference for a piece of wood? More than disappointing.
Remember they are in different Tones
