@@SamsonGrey26 fingers crossed they don't. Extreme trials, Savage, and Variant/Criterion are the challenges you want. I want my dungeons easy and cheesy.
I haven't laughed as hard because of a video game in quite a while. I actually really like this one. Sure the first boss is a total douche. But it's still hilariously fun.
@@tacitidesong i was excited to do the post msq lvl 100 dungeons do i could farm expert roulette daily, but i just had to take a break after my first blind run of the dungeon today 😅
idm 1st or last boss. but those teacups can kiss my ass. . .. I can't follow them unless i just stop my rotation dead and only look at them. and even then i may still not get them. basically a guarantee'd death for me. . . I'm really bad at the hide under the cups, or the which card is x shuffling around type stuffs.
For the teacups I stand in the middle and focus on one teacup (they are always on opposite sides of the room so no need to track both). Just swing your camera with it. When it stops run to the perpendicular side to be safe. Pretty easy. First boss is so chaotic. Best I've found is just hammer dps as much as possible at the start. When the little dudes are running around everywhere just focus on not getting caught. Of you try to dps you will likely get grabbed. They have a larger than youd think hit box. That fight is so funny considering the guy keeps crying while simultaneously begging "please let me kill you!!!" 😂😂😂😂
One of the best guides I’ve come across. Short and too point, well described and matching visuals. I was hoping for a cheat for the teacups as I have trouble tracking them, but no joy. I’ll just continue getting blown up by them, I guess. 😅
That mechanic seems more like a design flaw since youre forced to spin your camera to track cups while dps'ing the boss. Ranged DPS are lucky in this since they can stand at the edge of the arena, but its not fair to melee dps since they would have to stop damage altogether to observe the cups to avoid getting hit by the aoe.
I feel like you just plain have to stop DPSing at that point. There's no other option. My brain just doesn't compute "track teacups" and "do your rotation" at the same time.
@@VideoHostSite Its not so much about stopping DPS as much as its about the mechanic that alot of players are having a difficult time keeping track of. There are many mechanics in the game that make you stop DPS on the boss, but this mechanic is different in that there is no clear indicator on the 2 cups other than remembering which ones they were after they stop spinning. Many people lose track easily.
Just did this blind this morning. Wild one for sure. I love how they've gone back towards making dungeons a little difficult. It makes players have to utilize their jobs effectively.
I honestly adore the brevity of your guides but I feel like you're so brief with some mechanics you're basically saying water is wet while forgetting to say why its wet or how it matters
The brevity is EXACTLY why I keep coming to these guides. Yeah, some mechanics might be a bit too complex on first glance for the average player, but the explanations given imho do give enough info.
I liked the chaotic fun house of it, but all the spinning mechanics were oddly rough on my migraine-prone brain. Haven't had that issue in any other XIV content, so hopefully it was a one-off. Thanks as always for the clear and concise guide!
To be honest i thought i found more strategy to it a few times but then it would always eventually fail. I then realised the charging direction is based on locking onto player positions which creates a level of randomness to the mechanic which makes its difficult to create anything beyond just dodge them. Oh but Yoshi p's 'helpfull' additional tips were basically........dont be greedy with hitting the boss and stay focused on dodging! 😒🤣
Your guides are amazing. Thank you. I'm not this far yet, have been working my way through 6.x stuff with a lot of trepidation, but your guides have made life much easier. Easy subscribe.
Loved this dungeon, as an astro I have found all dungeons quite difficult to heal this expansion but it's a welcome change! A lot more healing needed \o/ Playing astro is a debuff to my mental state though haha.
This dungeon sucks ass for uptime. First boss was fun one time but now it’s just annoying. Second boss good luck trying to watch both cups if you’re a melee. It’s almost like being able to zoom out more without any outside help would make the encounter work.
Both high lv 100 dungeons are a nightmare for blm, and considering the way they f*cked up the job this xpa I’m seriously considering switching to another job.

The dungeons this expac have been humbling my ass and I love it, Yoshi-P heard the complaint about easy dungeons and said bet.
Fingers cross they keep it up! :)

@@Nodnarb59 It's called expert dungeons, not noobie dungeons. Leave the easy ones for the MSQ, but expert should be harder.
Even with a guide this dungeon is still kind of a troll dungeon.
Fitting of the visuals of the dungeon! :)

That last boss design tho...
Hades turned into a clown and went here for a new gig after we beat him Shadowbringers.
Loved it! :)
That first boss is a fucking bastard for sure!!
haha, cant argue with that! :)
0:53 track them best as you can

You're strategy for the 1st boss basically mirror's Yoshi P's recent comment on the boss... dont be greedy! 🤣
ye i notic this. the add hitboxes are fuck up. i always get caught even when it's looks like i should be safe. It's a nightmare for blackmage
Love these quick guides, straight to the point!
As a healer, its is so damn hard to recover on that first boss. Glad the rest was easier.
Yeah its very frantic, hot a lot of room to rez!
These bosses are a Viper's worst nightmare.
try this as a black mage xD
Ah, so the teacups are just a memorize and track thing. I wondered if there was a visual indicator or something I was missing.
Music is a rearrangement of "Jesters of the Moon" from Final Fantasy IX. I may have spent too much time bopping along to survive mechanics...
lol! :)
for the teacups i gave up tracking after a few times and just followed my teammates, works50% of the time XD

I recommend running out to the edge of the arena and zooming all the way out so you can see all the cups at once, really helps!

I absolutly hate the first boss in this dungeon. I wanna meet the guy who designed and greenlit that boss and break his fingers....

gently caress those tiny mobs on first boss tho
