I have been using papaya leaves extract for my diabetes and high blood pressure. My doctor has approved it. In Jamaica, our parents would break the leaves and use the stem to rub on any ringworm rash we'd have. Amazing healing agent. Most former British colonies call them paw paws, not papaya. The confusion comes in mainly in the usa because they have a completely different fruit that they call paw paw .
