When people say he won't fight Benavidez, history prooves them wrong.
They said the exact same about Saunders and sent him to retirement with a broken face.
History can be easily re-written… hence, he doesn’t want to fight Benavides… for the last couple years I’ve Been seeing random boxing fights … now in these days, instead of fighters meeting in the ring, giving it their all 1-on-1….. they all just walk around, talking loud like if they’re the ‘Big S***’…. The only way fighters will take a fight is #1 - they’re getting paid enough to risk getting F’-Up or #2 - They know they could win, OR at least a Draw or #3 pay their opponent enough to take an ‘L’ … someone & only one, who successfully did this was “Floyd Mayweather Jr.”….. & he did so in 50 fights within 21 years ….
Just cause someone did before doesn’t mean they will now. Co ole felt different challenger. Hes bigger, longer and has a higher finish rate than the names you mentioned
Saunders is not like Benavidez
Saunders is a better boxer than Benavides, maybe not the power, but better IQ. Benavides is too slow and canelo sees those shots from miles away. Hell no one has KO Canelo, not even GGG or Bivol@@Tac0_02

I remember before this fight was made people were saying Canelo would never fight Saunders due to his slick boxing ability and when Canelo fought him and broke his face they had nothing to say.
Not only that it’s funny how nobody mentions the fact that Canelo gave Saunders a bigger ring cause Saunders threatened to pull out of the fight if it wasn’t bigger and Canelo still stopped that clown.

Yep and Smith was another supposed boogeyman that people said he'd never face, but they always move on to prop up someone else. Atlas said Saunders had the style to beat him and would make it tough for Canelo still late in the fight. And he called Smith a dangerous fighter with good timing and power, but after Canelo unified 168, he refused to give him any credit and called it cherrypicking lol.

As the saying goes, "don't bite more than you can chew." Besides, size has nothing to do with it. Canelo just beat someone who was taller than he is, so that's not even a good excuse.

Since this is an MMA channel (from the name anyway) maybe it’s different in MMA. I don’t know much about MMA at all but from a boxing perspective this wasn’t considered a knockout. BJS retired on his stool due to an eye injury specifically a broken orbital bone. So it gets recorded as “RTD” not a “KO”.

People need to give BJS more credit, this was a very close fight up until the stoppage. As we know one punch can change the course of the fight, or doesn’t matter how good you are, and this is exactly what happened. Could have easily been Canelo on the other end of that punch

I still remember that judge who was having a "bad day" and scored Canelo as the winner. I stopped believing in boxing that night, too.
Clearly lost the first two? GGG's own trainer was telling GGG in the corner of the second fight that he was losing and said afterward that it's "ridiculous" to not give Canelo credit. GGG made his career mainly about Canelo who he was supposed to destroy only to lose at his own game in the rematch to underdog Canelo and caught a second L.
2nd was close, but he lost 1st for sure, atleast by 2 rounds if not more. Still I like canelo a little bit more because how deep his resume is compared to GGG
