Nate this is the last lure i have expected you to make, but promise me that if you catch a bass on it, you must put a santa hat on it for the photoshoot
I know right
Yes!😂
I have followed you on your journey since the beginning
….you Do realize, that tens of thousands people are now, making their own lures, because you have inspired us all, to do so. Thank you for all your years of dedication, to us….for your reliability, as a creator, to make new content that we could not only look forward to but can count on, with certainty.
Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays to you and Chelsea and the babies….and Chip 🐾, and may the New Year, bring you all the success, that you well deserve. 🎅 🎄
Truly, we are not simply watching a fisherman who makes his own lures. No. We are watching an artist, a sculptor, with lures as his medium.
Nate, you’re awesome! Or should I say “you’re a mean one!”
His masterpiece lures me as well. Seems like "it's official... grown ass men loves marlin baits"
I'm not a lure maker myself, but a big fan of your channel…
I have a big wish for you that I would like to see you do...
I would love to see you make a "Chip lure", i imagine Chip lying like
the Sphinx in Egypt, a fun project with possibilities for an exciting paint job.
The fun fact segment on the Grinch has got to be the best fun facts of all time.
Just hearing your explanation of the Grinch's heart issues made this holiday season a happy one for me. Fully in line with my sense of humor.
Just simply awesome! I think when you push yourself to do these crazy off the wall lures, it shows off some of your best work because your creativity kicks in, as opposed to doing a variation on a lure you've made 10 times before. Very cool stuff! The frilly stiff around the neck was a perfect touch! Cheers and Tight Lines Nate!!
I have been watching you for a couple of years now, when i get the notification that a new video is uploaded, im always eager to see what amazing creation you have made! Were not dissapointed this time either, All the love from Sweden!
This is the coolest lure ever!! Just phenomenal. A Merry Christmas to everyone.
At this point in your career I must say it's not just your bait making but your personality that keeps your channel going..you know what needs to be done but it's your personality that keeps it alive..if you know you know..if not keep that personality up and I'll keep coming back 😅
I was actually considering watching the grinch for the first time with my mother today. Now i'm thinking even more of watching it, especially since i love jim carrey
Awesome bait!! Love the paint job you are really inspiring and I’m starting to make my own but they are nothing compared to your masterpieces 🎣
We watched this on Christmas morning waiting for my kid to get up. (he's 26😂) Great video and I added my email on your web page.
Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you and your family. Give Chip a scritch behind the ears for us. 😊
I love it. My new favorite MB Lure. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Watched with my 10yr old, 8 and 3yr old. Giggling and hilarity throughout the video. Belly laughing ensued during the decapitation. Merry Christmas Nate from me and my family, to you and yours. Thanks!
It's funny you're doing a whole online class. Back during covid I watched all your videos, where you mentioned pretty much every step of the bait-making process in detail at some point. It was all in tidbits spaced throughout, but between that and making my own lures, I was able to learn many of your tricks. Across over a hundred failed baits I've learned how make some pretty good ones. I sent you the Chip lure I made, which was okay. I made a fox lure that looks and works much better. I still don't have all the tools to make high-end baits, (missing band saw, lead pot, and air brush) but I'll get them eventually.
Fabulous, of course. Yes, it turned out good. Great content. ILF
The three words that best describe this lure are as follows, and I quote: Stink, stank, stunk!
So cool looking and nice action lol
Wow! All time favorite bait. Great job!
Another master piece of art created by the Master Crafter
What an incredible bait! Great job on the details. I love your videos, thank you for making them for us to enjoy. ❤
His online course is going to be awesome definitely using it in my shop ❤
I love the fact that you come up with the craziest things man. Merry Christmas. God Bless you and the family.
Another great looking bait, by the master bait maker Nate ,,,
What a fantastic lure!! Just wow 🎉
I love that you try new stuff all the time (painting fur) and use different materials and stuff. Awesome.
0:52 That's awesome! I love the idea.
The whole family sat down and watched this one together. You are super creative. Thanks for sharing.
2 of my favorite elements in your videos are; I always hear a couple songs that I love and listen to regularly and the second would be the sped up music/advertisements in the background. Awesome work man, so cool to watch a bait take shape from a block of wood.
This needs to be on the trending list! Excellent video!
Классная и прикольная приманка.
Painting reminds me of open poured mahogany grain happiest new year s to all family 🎉🎉❤😊
This is exactly what I love about your videos and, more importantly, your lures: just when it seems like you've done it all, you pull something completely unexpected like this out of the woodwork and make an absolute masterpiece out of it ❤ You have a gift, and you're truly amazing at what you do. Tight lines and happy holidays to you & yours, Nate!! ❄️☃️🎄☃️❄️
You’re the man, no other way around it. Leading the way for the rest of us and teaching us how to do it. Thank you for what you do, never stop.
Will 100% join, my grandpa has a woodshop that he never uses anymore because his arthritis has gotten so bad. its probably been 5 years since someone used that shop but it pretty much has everything I would need to make baits, super excited to learn and hopefully my Grandpa will appreciate me putting his stuff to use
Love the colter wall in the background
I like that you're putting your templates out there.
Each one could be a patent for you.
You remind me of the baitmaker version of The Grateful Dead, they encouraged their fans to record them and spread the music around.
Worked out for them, and the people love it.
This reminds me of the old days on this channel with planes and sharks 😂 love the lure and as usual please dont hesitate to make a your version of a corky
Nate, I am so excited for the masterclass. Over the summer I've built myself a little workshop and started making baits, inspired by what I could learn from your videos. Still struggling with topcoat & sealing, and just general aesthetics
Really looking forward to it and I really appreciate you taking the time to make these incredible resources available to us
awesome build!! you gotta get one on this thing
I barely even fish.... But I am a huge fan of your artistry, banter, wit, dad jokes, fun facts, but most of all - process! You make art with a function! Love dat chit! Happy Holiday and Happy New Year Marling! - A Fan from California!
Just signed up. This will definitely up my skill level. I've been tying my own Lake Erie Steelhead jigs for years now. Along with other lures that didn't amount to much. Can't wait to start getting into carving some new lures 🤘
Looks awesome should definitely do more like this loving the detail in the carving and the paint very inspiring
I drooled on myself last night when I imagined the video of this. I did the same tonight watching the video. I love everything you do!
Awesome
Looking forward to course. I will join.
New Marling Baits video!!! It's a good day
Good idea for an expedited course! I will definitely check it out
31:03 Pretty good, my dad would get a kick out of that bait! The fact that it looks like it is swimming is to kool.
Honestly excited for this. I build custom furniture so I have woodworking skills already but have been afraid of trying smaller stuff like lures.
So cool that you are about sharing the craft with others!
Nate, you have reached a new level with this bait! Your course will be a legacy for all of your time and effort!
I'm so jazzed!! I've talked so much about how great you are!!
Just watched this with my 3 yr old Daughter who now wants me to make her a Grinch lure! Thanks! Haha Great video.
I love how we can make pretty much anything if ya got the skills.
The best facts I’ve ever seen you do.😂😂😂😂 Great job!!

Wow so adorable your video showed up in my feed this is my first time watching you I was just thinking about what if you try to make a gnome and do Jack and Sally that would be great for others to see your work your an amazing artist in lures
Really unique 👌 😅 from the body shape when you were cutting it it had a guitar body shape really interesting thought. And I have to say the fur look looked almost carved before the clear coat. Nice!

Cool! His legs remind me of Big Bird from Sesame Street. Can't wait to see what you catch with it 🤟🇨🇦
Just signed up !! love it Nate!!!!! Merry Christmas
Cool lure as usual! I think you should either Marling customize a sneaker and/or make a sneaker lure.
Nate that grinch looks so good at the end
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Nice lure you made. Nice shootin.
I can't wait to watch your training series! You are an inspiration.
Def one of you're best. Love it.
13:34 ‘Let them eat cake!!!’
Definitely gonna sign up for your course Nate, although I'll most likely be on a first name basis with my local medical aid unit..anything with a blade loves my fingers lol. Gonna be awesome. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
This UA-cam channel cures my sads I’ve been watching and subscribed for so long but I just now decide to comment keep up the work man
Amazing as always. This video made me very happy. Happy holidays.

So cool man. I want one for myself.
Man I love your videos! Great job as always!
Great looking bait and I put my name on the list! Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas 🎅 I have been looking forward to this video man!!!!
You never stop to amaze me with your talent! This was crazy fun.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, great lure, and nice shooting, although that pumpkin was hideous, LOL.
Ah man that came out awesome! Merry Christmas looking forward to that puffy fish lure next year!
I love how you brought this lure to life with the fly tying material. What if you put fins and tails made of fly tying material on your wooden lures? You could get your wife to tie materials onto a piece of thick mono or some wire. Then you could embed them in slots and holes. That way you could have visually significant fins and tails that would affect the lure action as little as possible.
Very cool. You are a master of your craft sir. Keep upgreat work.
Came across your video, very cool Grinch lure, you have a nice talent making lures! Happy Holidays 🌲Thank you for sharing!
Watching this made my heart grow 3 sizes.
Christmas Art! Nice job you lure Picasso 😂
Marry Christmas to All fishermen out there 🎄
