#DeepFake
The scary thing about this stuff, is that there is gonna be a point where video footage won't serve as evidence in court.
Imagine someone doing something to you, then you have the damn footage but it's just not valid anymore because it can be fake
It doesn't already if you need it to defend yourself:D
There will probably be tools to detect it
The meta data the video is embeded with should be required to be traceable that the video was altered or created with AI, rather than created naturally, but who knows...
@@badgoyqc1647 until now there is no tech to detect it from my knowledge
It's so funny when you have listened to someone for ages and you've built an image of them in your head, then you see the person for the first time and you realise you weren't even close!
I'd be embarrassed to admit how far off I was. In my defense, I think I modeled my mental image after other grads who I knew. Still have lingering doubts (hopes?) as to whether that was actually him.
I thought he looked like an middle eastern caucus man with dark hair, olive skin and thick eye brows.

Make Arya pregnant with the Night King's baby. Unknown to her, that's why he allowed himself to be stabbed -- to convert the child she just conceived hours before with Gendry.

As Deepfakes become increasingly more sophisticated, a bevy of smaller studios may afford to make better movies involving stunt doubles. Deepfakes may even be used in traditional animation in tandem with DAIN (Depth Aware INterpolation) so that smaller studios can afford to animate, and with fewer frames.
I mean, the potential improvement with the handling of stunt doubles, period, is off the charts. So much potential time save in having computers do more stuff for you, yo.
@@Yawyna124 I also mean implementation in traditional animation, whereby you can animate with DAIN a completely generic character (as in literally just an outline) and deepfake a character design into that shape.

Not completely. You also need a trained actor who is able to speak at the right speed and do the correct movements so it doesn't seem off. At least this AI expects you to speak like a human, not a politician (and especially not a Trump or Boris). It also doesn't write the speeches for you. While there are also generators for writing something in the style of a pre written text, putting in the texts what you want to say still requires some work and also is (for now) nowhere near perfect. And in the end you also still need to put all of it together. Which requires a lot more time and effort than just hiring a writer and actor would (for now) (even if it might be cheaper)

@Blake Thacker furry
The tech doesn't surprise me but the fact that it only takes once source image amazes me.
Almost done the first test... Looks like awesome!!!
Trump's deep fake doesn't look believable, but the Putin one does.
i thought the opposite
Amazing and frightening at the same time.
It’s cool and all but, not good for anyone.
Looks like some awesome technology. Powerful stuff. What I sometimes find frustrating about these kinds of presentations, is it appears like everybody can do it. But I have actually NO idea even where to begin. And I'm probably more IT-literate than 95% of humanity. I don't know what a Colab notebook is, I assume I will need some specialized framework or installed environment for this. Is there lots in-depth knowledge and experience required to set this up?
Is there a step-by-step guide to show how to use or run a project like this, or detailed guidelines how to create a reproducible environment where someone can run "colab notebooks" (whatever that may be) for themselves?
Actually I wouldn't even know what system I would need for this. MacOS, Windows, Linux? Does it run on Android or iOS?
and here we go we cannot trust internet anymore
Take a video of yourself speaking, take a screenshot of the first frame, train the network on that image and the video as the driver. Would they be the exact same?
Thats how the network is trained. It's only after training when they try changing the source image
Our boy is already a consultant for the UN? Wow, they grow up so fast, sniff sniff
Considering how smart you are, i really expected a much older person.
Although this entire concept just freaks me out, before I run away screaming, I MUST thank you for your service to the defenders of our country and I’m sure many others. You could have made some serious BANK, and I hope you do. But your conviction to put your fellow man before anything else is truly admirable. Chivalry is NOT dead after all. Thank you!
This is truly frightening for the general public .
I sorta wish him being at the conference was a deepfake.
Wow....so you are not from India? ;D
LMAO😆
so umm
in the past, people are scared of these because of how powerful it is
in the present its all DAME DA NE
This is the best youtube channel!!! Im having a hard time running the notebook though!!
I'm confused. Is that his real face, or someone else's face he deepfaked onto himself?
the point of the video is probably to make people ask that question to themselves, and leave them uncomfortable without an answer.
@@dliciouscrabmeat6355 The answer, with proof, has been given in other comments. It is really him.
@@brinckau iknow i was kidding
@@dliciouscrabmeat6355 Oh, ok.
You look younger than I expected
