That monster is one of the most horrific, nightmare inducing things Disney has produced. I LOVE IT!
Helps that the figure bears a strong (but mostly coincidental) resemblance to the creature from Alien Encounter, which actually is widely considered the most horrific, nightmare inducing thing Disney has produced.
Which is part of why I really love this: it's pretty much a mix of everything I love about Disney's other work from both ends of the spectrum. Starts out cheery and whimsical like the original Journey into Imagination, then devolves into Alien Encounter-esque nightmare fuel topped off with the lovechild of Test Track and Tower of Terror for a finale.
I need to go to Japan...
I was too young and scared to see the original Alien Encounter. And Stitch's Great Escape is god awful...
Skywarp: Oh, who is it? Who is it? Don't let her get me. Don't let her get me! Oh, we shouldn't have come. It's a horrible, horrendous magma monster! Don't let her get me!
This is why I prefer the Disney Parks over Universal Studios. Disney tend to make their dark rides very real and immersive whilst Universal just create simulators.
yeah i feel you man, i wish universal would make more rides like E.T, mummy or jaws. maybe someday
Master Knife honestly no one does it as well as disney. At one time (the 90s) universal was genuinely keeping up with Disney. It's just not the case anymore. The theming and the upkeep is just not as good as anyone other than Disney.
although Harry Potter World comes very close to being every bit as magical as Disney, Forbidden Journey is one of the most amazing rides I have ever been on, but Disney still has an edge with their friendly cast members and attention to minor details. I wish WDW would get a ride like this, even thought test track is awesome. I've also seen the new Avatar land/Pandora at WDW is incredible.
Also remember that disney only owns the name to the park, multiple companies put money into these rides, thats why they're so amazing compared to any other Disney park.
Universal used to do this brilliantly. It wasn’t until recent years that they started relying so heavily on screens. And the screens work on some rides, and for some it doesn’t. Hagrids doesn’t use screens
This is probably the best video recording that I have seen of this ride... Thanks!
This ride looks fantastic, I mean it's such a unique and interesting attraction. Even the que is Amazing!!
SUCH an awesome ride!
This is now on my list of places I need to go
Wow incredible ride!
Skywarp: Oh, who is it? Who is it? Don't let her get me. Don't let her get me! Oh, we shouldn't have come. It's a horrible, horrendous magma monster! Don't let her get me!
One of my favorite rides at Tokyo DisneySea!!!!!
Nice. What did you use to record this?
I wish we had this ride at Orlando
I never realized this was the same ride system as test track
This was my first time experiencing airtime
3:20 oh no its gawdzirra!
It looks like Gojira, but due to international copyright law, it's not.
no its raba monster
lol Austin powers
hi, part of the video shows that suddenly it went fast, very fast, though it was dark, so i wasnt able to see that part, was it just fast or there's also a sudden drop in the altitude? i love to try this, but im nervous, i can take a very fast moving ride, but if theres a sudden drop in altitude, that I can no longer take, one of the rides in disneyland is the pirates of the carribean, at first it was a slow moving ride, i was really enjoying it, but then in the middle of the ride, it went dark, then it went fast, next was a sudden drop in altitude, i asked others before i took the pirates of the carribean about it, they said its just a family ride, ideal for kids, that its a slow moving, just like the "Simbad of disneysea" but they didnt mention the sudden drop in altitude, and it really frightened me, i almost had a heart attack, so i will never ride pirates of the caribean again, anyway, we will be back in disneysea on the first week of january 2018, i really want to try "journey to the center..."
but if it includes sudden drop of altitude (even not that high) then Im afraid I cant try this, hope to hear from you soon. thank you in advance.
i rode it! its a really high and fast plunge down, it shocked me a lot when i rode it ahahaha
i love my pledis and sm family just curious if the drop is really steep and how large is it?
Ethan Nicoletti it is really quite steep, and it took about 4~5 seconds to complete the full plunge if im not wrong
i love my pledis and sm family what happens after it in the dark
Ethan Nicoletti after the drop then it's just some turning to go back into the station
it's formed from alien encounter
Jeff Burch I was thinking the exact same thing.
Except that it's BIGGER.
What kind of ride is this? Roller coaster...dark ride...something like Test Track?
Uses the same ride system as Test Track.
darkride rollercoaster
It's no more of a coaster than Test Track or Radiator Springs Racers...as in not a coaster at all.
Cool. Thanks!
Why is there no dinosaurs and water and sounds of falling rocks and the red giant lizard chameleon and the dimetrdon lizard
the fun starts at 3.28
Who else feels weightless when the ride dropped?

Skywarp: (calling out to Diancie) Oh, oh! Help! Help! Sombody s-save me!
I rode it
how is that drop towards the end ??
Only rid who is sometging to hang in the three except from raging spirits but dont like coasters with loop
funnyラヴァMonster
なんか遅くなった?
変わってないと思います!多分💦
Another Tokyo Disney ride that puts Disneyland California to shame. Wish we had SOMETHING to look forward to at this pathetic theme park
Wrong to have a park in tokyo
For me, this is the most disappointing ride in all of Disney parks. 2 hour queue to look at a bunch of crystals in a cave, 1 monster and a few seconds of "thrill ride". I'd rather play in Ariel's playground for those 2 hours.
Next you'll be saying Horizons was lame...
AdrenalineAddict610 Soarin? it's a great ride. my favorite in DCA.
Horizons, not Soarin...
Well you are in luck it's coming to Disney sea in 2 years
Can you read?
