6 mines total on the ground, 7th deletes 1st. You said 3 total, which is incorrect. (Similar to Trip Mines, you can have 2 of each TM on the ground at once; 2 HE, 2 Inc, 2 Gas. Not that anyone would bother with Inc or Gas mines).
I usually set 2 AT mines right by each other on a common road, then use 1 mine + 1 dynamite to kill a tank. This leaves me 2 dynamite to kill infantry until I resupply, as well as my hand grenade.
Also, you can walk right up to most tanks and take them out much easier with M+D than ATG+RG, obviously. Most Assaults try too hard and avoid the easy path. :)
If Matti ever masters M+D, he would be even more brutally unstoppable.

You can actually have 12 out technically. 6 from your player as assault and 6 from either the light flanker tank or 6 from the artillery truck.

Same. Did not use them after that. They were so much fun. Now tanker drives on top, heals an kills the other mines.
