Mark has internal cooldown, meaning you can only apply it every few seconds(can't find the value, but I think it's 2 seconds). That and it stacks from x2 to x4 to x8 ( x12 when t3). So you can hit max in 3 or 4 bullet if you pause in between shots
Swift striker is a very underrated item. Increases ammo, fire rate, and weapon damage with a very small drawback. Definitely use it while it's still stupid

iirc when the content was from pubs, there was a poll asking if deaths should be cut, and the vote was yes. but the content is changed now, and yes, I do find them jarring as well
