and the best way to peel and chop garlic is with a meat tenderiser, 1 wack and the peel is off and the garlic is crushed several more wacks and it is almost puree
The garlic was burned; which generally makes it quite bitter.... But the garlic press DID work. Just like 98% of those already in use. Whapping the cloves makes "papers" come off easily. Then rocking the knife on the cloves for a very little time frame will accomplish as small a mince as one would need. (is whapping a word??... lol)
I would like the link to buy tescoma fermentation jar kit that was on the 25 new cool kitchen gadgets that make your kitchen easier in 2021. Published on April 30, 2021. It wasn’t in the product links and I’d like to purchase one.
I wonder why many discard the core of a pineapple. I'm from a tropical island and the part we love most in a pineapple is the core. It's thru most delicious part.
I believe this whole video was targeted towards Older cooks without the hand strength of their youth , or having trouble because of a little arthritis...As I myself am older and do understand the loss of strength as one gets older ...I myself have strength issues but happily not in my hands yet , but I do understand how many little grandmas can use a little help in the kitchen prepping meals ...So , how bout we are a little understanding of those who need videos like this showing their options for new tools to help them even if we don't need anything but a good sharp knife ...The tenderizer Hammer is a good quick alternative for all of us though...The Stainless Pineapple Corer is a Vast improvement over that White Plastic model , for real ...But any Garlic Press that Can't press out the Garlic Clove with the paper hull on & leave the paper behind isn't worth having to begin with...That Tabletop model was definitely made with the Handicapped in mind & kudos for them for making it for them & marketing it coz there's no reason they should have to eat bland food ...And finally , that Gear Driven Potato Ricer looks like something we all can appreciate to have & use ...But you could have shown them how best to use it other than holding it up in the air with no leverage whatsoever ...Should've put a pot in the sink & rested the Ricer on rim of sink so they sould rest it there & used their weight & leverage to squeeze their potatoes through without too much effort... Might just cause them to have mashed Potatoes more often , or even ricing Cauliflower too........ All these Videos can't be made just for the young folks, old folks need to know what's out the & available for them too... Thanks again for making & presenting this Video ...
@@BestKitchenGadgets As I already said , you have a great assortment of gadgets & even a bunch to help out those who need a little more help than others ( kudos for those gadgets especially , they are liken to people finally realizing the need for Handicap Parking Spaces ...) That being said , " Y E S " , I DO have an idea for a new gadget . Something to replace one that needs changing & replacing...If I knew how to get it done I would try to get it made & marketed by.myself ... As a matter of fact 2 of them , same thing in 2 sizes , quart & gallon size ...I watch all these Cooks in videos struggle to put their meats / veggies & marinades into freezer bags & most always also get the Zip-locs wet , then try to dry them off.before sealing ...I know there are these pathetic excuses for bag holders In use but let's just admit it , they barely work & not that well at all really...What is really needed is a Convenient easy to use way of holding the freezer bag OPEN , UPRIGHT , & STABIL ON IT's OWN so the cook is free to use both hands to transfer whatever it is into the bag without spilling the contents everywhere or the bag falling over & also spilling everywhere all while keeping the Zip-Loc dry & functual , for both the quart & the gallon size bags...What is needed are 2 plastic Cylinders , diameters just large enough for each bag to snugly fit over the top rim after the bag has been put inside of that cylinder & turned down much like a turtleneck would look/be...And be of an exact length for the bag to soundly sit on the counter so as to not pull down on the bag as it gets filled in case it's liquid ....Both canisters are of such simple design & easy to use I don't understand why others haven't come up with the concept Loooonng. Ago.....Sometimes the Simplest things are not only the Best , but the Easiest to use.....Now , Go prototype ONE & go make Yourself a Million Dollars ..LOL.. B.T.W. Believe it or not , I have had several simple fix ideas thru the years , like , "Why doesn't someone make something like this to make this easier " , Then sometime in the near future someone DID , it wasn't me but I did actually think it up beforehand ... Just like this , it's just an improvement on an idea , holding a bag up , but totally different idea & concept ...Like when they used SOLID WHEELS on carts for Centuries until someone came up with a new concept of putting TIRES on those wheels.........💡💡💡💡💡 💲💲💲💱💱💱💰💰💰👌👌👌👍👍👍
Besides the salt and pepper shakers, these things are ridiculous. The mango thing, you better hope that mango seed fits that hole. The round two hand blades... come on really? We can’t use knives now? Are they too scary? The potato masher? Ugh please!! I had to stop. Way too non essential crap that fills your drawer.
how on earth did we chop our veggies before the three-wheel steel chopper? And, how did we cut our bagels in half before the gadget no 9 has been invented? Most of these gadgets are for spoiled, uninventive people with a lot of kitchen space
Nothing useful here. Remakes of old juicers, garlic presses that were much better. Still have my mothers potato ricer and it'll still outlive this new one. Some of the peelers looked absolutely painful to use. Horrible cheap stuff. Wouldn't have any of it in my kitchen.
I feel like this video is less about showing us the best kitchen gadgets, and more of a big long advertisement... a lot of these are also just normal kitchen things
Old video, but just found it. Thanks - I learned that I definitely want to avoid Urban Trend kitchen utensils! Those have to be the most poorly designed tools of all time AND they take massive amounts of space to store. It was painful to watch items like the circular herb chopper - it just destroyed those herbs! And I was genuinely afraid for the people trying to demonstrate that veggie peeler! What is their obsession with circular tools? Very awkward to use. And none of their cutting tools are sharp enough to do the job, making them dangerous. I laughed outright at the humongous circular garlic press! Who has room for that? Just a huge no to Urban Trend. Also thanks for reminding me just why OXO is one of my go-to brands!
I have most of these gadgets they don’t do that much of work the only thing I don’t have is the measuring cup but I didn’t like it, take it from me don’t waste your money, I did like the kitchen cabinet door
#1: Would never work, veggies would just go flying everwhere #4: I need one #5: Won't work because veggies roll around and shit #6: I need one of those #7: Manny (neighbor) needs one of those #9: That's just fucking dumb. You're going to cut yourself cutting shit like that one day when your hand accidentally shoves itself in there. goddamn #10: Mangoes are slimey #11: only useful for making potato pancakes you're gonna fry, use blender for mashing mash potatoes #12: USE A DMAN SPOON #14: That's a fucking spatula... #15: She's struggling to get that bagel to turn. #16: Well ok, i could use a pineapple thinger #17: I don't give a shit what you say, those garlic things don't work for fuck, half my garlic stays squashed inside #18: Keep that salt shaker away from Manny #19: Bitch fruit is expensive, why you wasting that shit to make juice. cut them, remove seeds, shove in blender, use it all #20: She spooked me when she started talking.... also if that garlic peeler works, I need it #21: nobody peels like that unless they're 9 #22: WHY DIDN"T YOU USE THAT FOR THE FUCKING ORANGE JUICE YOU MADE in #19?!?!?!? #23: does not work! I don't care what it looks like or what shape it is, i call bullshit! STOP LYING #25: This again?
Liked the first part. No to all dem weird, silly gadjets. "It's a knife. You can cut yourself. Don't be stupid." (my parent's advice). ;-) yeah, I'm old school.
Some of the tools make it harder to do than the conventional method
7ii
Many of these are a waste of money and space.
Love love the reverse measuring cups and spoons..wow that was great
Thanks so much 😊
it seems most of these can be replaced by learning how to use a knife.
Yeah
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
The mango peeler and largest measuring cup are of interest to me 🤔❣
Some neat gadgets.
thanks for your opinion

Too many tools make it harder. This is purely business promotion
Herb chopper was awful
Most of these tools are from the 80s...just modern design.. -.-
Way to big for my kitchen...
Have to be for more use when so big.
how to tell if a video is going to be shit, is there music and no talking, then yes, oh yes it will be shit
