Ray Combs (April 3, 1956 - June 2, 1996) is my favorite Family Feud host. Even though he only hosted the show for six years (July 4, 1988 - May 27, 1994) on CBS and in syndication, he is the one that I remember from my youth and I think he was the best at balancing the serious aspect of the game along with the comedy/humor. Ray deserved more than six years on Family Feud. His suicide was one of the saddest things I remember and had he not gone down that horrible path, I think he would have been the perfect choice to succeed Bob Barker as host of The Price Is Right in 2007 upon Barker's retirement.
Looking good

The In the Hert of the Night episode scheduled to air "Wednesday" aired Dec 9 1992, so this is from between Dec 3-4 or Dec 7-8,1992 most likely.
