This wonderful music should be heard by all people and instead, the world follows mostly zany music! Thank you for having studied and disseminated this masterpiece. Stunning master execution

Sublime! I don't need to go to church...my worship of God is found in His music...and no one can tell me this music did not come straight from God. I believe it existed in heaven and was put in Bach's brain...he was the conduit.

¡Felicitaciones! Al joven pianista Vitaly por su magnífica ejecución de esta magna obra. El pianista demostró una gran y excelente madurez. Sobre todo, expresó una técnica muy depurada. ¡Saludos! Desde México. ¡Bendiciones!

...the late E Power Biggs called the fugue - "the fugue for people who HATE Fugues..."

Wonderful performance no doubt but you can definitely tell a pianist from an organist - I think as an organist you get to feel the piece in a different way from the fingering to the way you feel each part from the bass (pedals) to the tenor/alto/soprano- it’s just different and as an organist

Look at that audience...sitting there stone-faced! Not moving a muscle! They are NOT true classical music lovers! He may as well put paper cutouts in the seats...SAD!

You're absolutely right. So many times good music is wasted on people that don't appreciate it.

Such gorgeous music ! One wonders if an actual human being wrote it.

You've taken this completely out of context. It's a COMPETITION and they're JUDGES -- or at least some of them are. And no, there probably wasn't any applause at the end either. That's the way music competitions are, especially in their preliminary phases (which is what this performance was).

Bachs wonderful bwv 532 played at a third the speed it should be played at. 🤨

Oh wait what?? I am a musician and an organist actually. Bachs bwv532 is written for the organ. And I play it on the organ. …the original score. Not this horrid nonsense. I shall await your email address and can send you a recording of how it should sound…. Smart arse

You do Realize it is an organ work, hence more difficult to play all the notes on the Piano right!!

As an organist I do indeed realise it is an organ work. …it’s a concert prelude and fugue. Bussonis transcriptions for piano are excellent but the opening to this prelude should be impressive, grand and at a vivace pace. Once he moves into the Alla Breve section he plays it at a perfect tempo.
