Sir, My answers are -(A) When they reached the station, the train left.(B) When they had reached the station, the train left (C)The train left when they had reached the station.

How we find that had in a sentence is 2nd form and had in a sentence is helping verb❓❓❓❓❓❓

Second form is always without helping verb.
Third form as a verb is never without helping verb.
Had alone is second for
Otherwise there must be a third form after had.

Dear sir, I have a query kindly help me out in this respect. Suppose a sentence ('Allama Iqbal produced a large number of poems which indicate his love for his homeland'). In the above sentence first clause is in simple past and second is in present indefinite, if I'm not wrong. You taught us after past tense, present tense is incorrect. Please clear my confusion!
