Hi, hope your father is doing well. My sister in law recently diagnosed with MDS. Based on what video said, "the only cure for MDS is Bone Marrow Transplant", so patient that go for other therapies like chemo and radiotherapy can't go into complete remission? God bless you

Same what happened to my dad, he did Bone Marrow Biopsy 3x and it was negative to Leukemia with zero blast. However his Dr. Clinically diagnosed him as MDS due to constant decrease in hemoglobin. For 2 months, Every 10 days we sent him for his bld transfusion (pack RBC), and later on his platelet count became low so he had to get platelets transfusion too. 3 months later he passed on due to septic shock. 😭😔 Until now Im searching for an answer on what really happened to him. 3 months was too short for a pt. With MDS.
My diagnosis is myelodysplastic syndrome..and they advised me to.have biopsy
