Ive struggled with committing to men for yrs & all this time I thought I was just crazy.😢 I was diagnosed with pcos & its completely destroyed my life💔💔💔💔 most days I want to die. I've gained more than 100 lbs in a yr..

Hey how are you doing lately? I have pcos too and seeing an endocrinologist has helped a lot
Yes
Pcos doesnt always include ovarian cysts . Cysts can be a driving factor for pcos but a lot of the time it isnt. Chronic stress or insulin resistance can be the driving factor. All of these three drive testosterone , inflammation and hormone dysregulation. There are also nstural suppliments , diet , therapy and exercise that can help . Most women find Metformin creates too many issues . I personally found Metformin was not an option for me as it made me house bound with severe vertigo and feeling drowsy and drunk ehich apparently are uncommon symptoms. Common symptoms are
Abdominal or stomach discomfort
cough or hoarseness
decreased appetite
diarrhea
fast or shallow breathing
fever or chills
general feeling of discomfort
lower back or side pain
muscle pain or cramping
painful or difficult urination
sleepiness
There are better options to help with symptoms such as myo and d chiro 40-1 this helps with period regularity, fertility and mood. Berberine helps with blood sugar and Tumeric and Curcumin suppliments decreases inflammation helping with period pain , achy joints, psoriasis and arthritis . Take a good multi vitamin or more specifically magnesium, vitamin d3 and viramin b complex . Obviously you want to slso get a low impact exercise routine such as pikates, barre , yoga , walking low impact hiit and weight lifting which helps with blood sugar, inflammation and mood. And eat only whole foods and centre your meals on high protein 30g a meal and lots of vegetables

I dont got insulin resistance, but have a huge growing suspicion i may have PCOS, so i defo probably would have the cysts.
@@Mel-H no it's not , determining PCOS is through symptoms not if you have cysts or extra follicles. For instance I do have imbalanced FSH and LH ratios but my ovaries are perfectly healthy . I have had all the tests and appointments. This is why the name PCOS is being discussed because it's an old misunderstanding that all women with PCOS have cysts
If its only about symptoms then why did my OB give me a blood test to CONFIRM that i actually have it? Our symptoms could be an indication of any illness or disease. Most of the time the answer is INSIDE the body.@Carrie-sgda
@@littleone1656 they do tests to see how high testosterone is , to see if estrogen/progesterone is high or low and to test hb1ac . They test these to see if it could be anything else and to see how they can help you , not to diagnose you. You do not need to have "high" testosterone or differences in other hormones or have diabetes to have PCOS . Not all women with PCOS have blood sugar issues and not all blood sugar issues cause high hb1ac . Not all PCOS women have issues with estrogen or progesterone. Not all women have what is classed as "high" testosterone. You can have symptoms of "high" testosterone and yet tests can show you are in "normal" range , this is because we are all individuals and what maybe genetically normal for one woman may not be normal for another. Normal ranges are created through finding a mean average range and that average range changes depending on genetics , diet and environment .

what is the male version of PCOS?
One of those words is ovarian.. males don’t have ovaries.
Metabolic syndrome. There are similar features (e.g. balding, weight problems, cardiovascular risks, glucose control, etc.). So it's hypothesised that there might be a male PCOS phenotype (and daughters can inherit symptoms). However, a difference is that in the case of PCOS females experience a surge of androgens, whereas most male patients with similar symptom expressions actually complain of a too low testosterone level. It's an interesting feature.

What does committing in a relationship have to do with PCOS?
I’m guessing hormonal issues cause lack of commitment because their hormones are out of whack and it makes them act all funky. I have PCOS and there was a point in time where I would break up with my boyfriend a couple times a month. We’ve been together for four years. I don’t act that way anymore but I would literally start fights with him for no reason at all and would just break up with him and then call him crying the next day. Until one point he said “is it always going to be like this? Are you going to treat me this way for the next 30 years?” And something clicked because my parents are still together after 30 something years and their relationship was always back and forth and still is and I was like I don’t want that for myself. Especially because I have this great guy who doesn’t deserve the ways I was treating him. And my doctor told me to take birth control which made me even worse. It was like a bandaid to my problem. I was feeling all the emotions and pms of a period but was not getting a period on birth control. On BC I was a NUT! I screamed at everyone over everything. It made me have thoughts of offing myself. I’m not excusing my behavior but I’m now wondering if my actions and behavior were due to hormonal imbalances. I still have issues. As of recently I can’t sleep at night, get night sweats, and I have really bad panic attacks and dissociation issues that were making it hard to work at my new job until the point I had to go to the ER and my boss fired me for going. Idk if PCOS causes any of this but ever since I turned 18 my life has been up and down and an emotional roller coaster and I’ve gained 60 pounds in 4 years.

@@ryleereynolds5710you probably have PCOS. I've had a hell of a time finding a doctor that would even diagnose me, let alone treat me. Do your homework and find a good doctor. PCOS structured diet, low impact exercise, vitamins, supplements, meditation, and good sleep. Caffeine and sugar and dairy make it worse.

I was told to get on metformin and it destroyed me. Once I was off and did her way of things with no crap medication it helped so much more.

Ive been on metformin for two weeks for PCOS and my hormones are a lot more balanced. I'm not having such intense highs and lows. So far I'm liking it a lot, it's helping me eat less too

Let me explain the commitment issue. If you have pcos its like a switch when it hits. You tell yourself i wanna please my man tonight but your body says hell no . Youll be dry and wont even fathom the thought of sex. Affection will probably get on your nerves , foreplay will not work no matter how hard yall try like it really sucks. You know you love someone and you want to show them you just cant mentally

they say u can have the cysts and still not have it is it true cuz i personally have regular periods etc and got the ultrasound at 19 when ppl r more likely to have this cyst?
@@DesiDivaDish-v4l Yes, you can develop cysts on your ovaries without having PCOS. & I experienced my first cyst at 19 (last year). Women can experience this from the age of 18 to 29 ish?
