Much appreciated, thanks! I don't know when my next UK trip will be, but here's my most recent compilation video. I've also done a few Steam/Heritage Diesel ones too. ua-cam.com/video/mqhelZTtX-8/v-deo.html&lc=UgxM-YI8lP62B6xlJbl4AaABAg
What a great service. The British trains stop in the winter because of the cold in the summer they stop because of the heat waves. But tickets are the most expensive in Europe.
Try traveling in Canada sometime. Not only are tickets expensive but it takes three hours to go a hundred miles. Compared to the UK where most trains take little longer than half-an-hour.
Great video. Honestly, all I've wanted to do since I was a young child, is be a train driver. Still want to do it now and I'm nearly 30. I have no Idea how to go about it. I've applied for multiple trainee driver vacancies, to no avail. It is my dream job, just don't know what to do about it!
Okay thanks - it did seem very strange I have to say. I'm bit of a signal fan(!) thanks to my involvement with the Gartell Light Railway, but I thought, 'Well that's a new on on me!'
and by in the uk they mean england and sometimes wales cuz very little if not any at all are filmed in scotland and northern ireland and thats the uk too ya know so it should be called "The Very Best of Trains in England and maybe Wales"
Just because there wasn't any footage filmed in Scotland or N. Ireland, that doesn't mean this wasn't filmed in the UK (because it was). Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland are combined with England in the United Kingdom of Great Britain - emphasis on united. Anyways, I do appreciate your view though - maybe take time to watch the whole video and see what you think. If I can get my adsense revenue up over the next year I'll be able to film a new volume featuring Scotland and Wales, maybe N. Ireland too if time permits.
JustDav Not enough for you? I would gladly venture into Wales and Scotland with my next videos - if I can get my YT Channel to make £1000/month. (I'm about 1/5 of that at this point. When this was filmed I was 1/10 there)
Bloody hell!...some of this stock looks ancient. Its like being in India. The whoke network looks decrepit. We are going in the right direction but slowly. The Europeans must piss themselves laughing.
Very interesting, thankyou!
Great video!
Class 90 left the chat however
There were a couple at Stratford on Norwich services. Plus the failed one towed through Bletchley
Wonderfully shot! Really enjoyed the content.
Glad you liked it! Be sure to check out my other videos too!
Wonderful services of trains of U. K.
Wow.. beautiful
My town was in this vid aha :)
When?
@@BobaShakeMallow I'd prefer not to say, I don't want too much of my personal info on UA-cam.
Nice trains have made a great comeback after the closures of the 60s-early 80s 👍🏻😊
UK
I love where that Thameslink class 319 stopped next to that 8 car class 319, it stopped where 1 class 319 would be directly symmetrical.
Very nice video mate, big like and subscribed 👍
Glad you enjoyed. I uploaded another video of 2018 and 2019s best clips, too.
Very good video
Great footage mate and decent variety, thanks for sharing, I’ve subbed your channel and look forward to more to come! All the best, Paul

17:34 now that's a nice sound.
How many of these trains were delayed or cancelled due to ‘a train fault’
None as far as I know - everything was running smoothly. Then again I don't check schedules for most trains.
Has ALL of British Rail been privatized?
Yes, as of 1996.
Actually the last BR-operated train rain in late 1998.
That horn at 1:17!
Robbo 13 xddd
Lol
omg I live near stevenage the 2nd set of clips
Always fun to watch trains at Stevenage - plenty of variety and tons of excitement with fast trains. Was a bit more fun in GNER days though ;-)
Why is the red light slowly flashing around the 2:50 mark?
I'm not sure, I think it's just a camera glitch as I noticed the signal was not really doing that. It tends to do something similar with LED displays.

Keep going! Try train simulator on multiple routes you'll be doing and it'll help
Qq
How did it go?
Lppppkkkkklp
Why was the red flashing at about 3:00 and for some time after?
John Penny It wasn't really flashing. It's something to do with the camera.
Okay thanks - it did seem very strange I have to say. I'm bit of a signal fan(!) thanks to my involvement with the Gartell Light Railway, but I thought, 'Well that's a new on on me!'
Love watching the trains, but, I would love to know whose trains they are and where they are going and where they have come from

220 mph trains for the UK
Philip Mclaughlin British trains only go at the clearly faster than light speed of 140kmh
Malteasers 2000 *mph but hs1 go up to 190mph
there's no trains in the UK that does 220mph they only do 85 to 125mph
The hs1 goes 190 so not all go 120
Hopefully we should get some trains going those sorts of speeds with HS2!
