Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

A truly blessed reminder. I'm greatfull to have live this long and seen God's faithfulness through many years and much heartache and times of inexpressibly great joy ,as well!
So often ,as an older person, I'm still a little girl. Safe in my Heavenly Father's arms.

God's word, His Spirit, the mercies of His Body and Blood are fresh every morning. I have followed Jesus for forty years and I can testify that He has proven to be that He is the same yesterday, today and forever; the same Jesus who brought me to the Father then, brings me to the Father today and will forever.
Old, passing by the "golden years," that never came, heading toward second decade of pain & discomfort I deem too much...having had Mr. Spurgeon to read & hear (when read by a kind saint, as here now) with great profit when 22, now past 72, he still lifts me up, comforts this tired saint. Finding it harder to concentrate and read the gems of old Puritans, more modern day Puritans as Spurgeon and Martyn Lloyd-Jones...I find them here. What a great thing this kind of new technology is.
