In MMA for example the stances and footwork are today changing towards karate footwork, in and out, to avoid getting hit too many times like it used to be 10 years ago. In the future, they will probably allow more disciplines than just boxing, here or in other parts. In my opinnion, if you have your clothes on and you fight in a tight enviroment, judo is the most badass discipline to master. I learned many stand up disciplines and by far muay thai was the taughest. But a combination between muay thai and judo, I think is lethal in any enviroment, with judo as the first discipline. It can save your hands and a lot of hand-writing at the police station too. But good old boxing is very taugh also.
@@Flajukas Well, I never had the pleasure of practicing jiu jitsu. But from what I've seen it's very eficient when you are on the ground. I also saw that in numbers of possibilities, jiu jitsu has a great number of turn overs and techniques, but mostly on the ground. Judo instead, it's very efficient from a stand up position. For me, going on the ground it doesn't seem like a good ideea. Maybe in a ring one on one. But when there is fighting without rules, I can't see how it can be better than judo. So, in terms of efficiency overall, I think judo wins. But again, by not practicing jiu jitsu, I'm very limited in knowledge. Judo I practiced, as an amateur, very amateur I might say, But I understood it's power.

@@fatdan172501 they were winning based on durability and not skill I didn’t see one of them try to slip a punch which gives them a puncher’s chance and depends on how many blows to the head they could take but their durability was impressive just nothing else was
