I’m an American guitar snob but I compared one to an AV2 52 and the Nocaster destroyed it. Sound was the same but the neck and the looks were breathtaking and it’s a lightweight example. The AV had horrible wood grain showing and was a poorly matched 3 piece body. I bought the Nocaster. 52 was no slouch but those specific examples, it was significantly outshined.
I've been a "tele" guy ever since I fell in love with Roy Buchanan's music. My first telecaster was an American professional ii. My goodness does that guitar look, feel, and sound beautiful after a setup, new strings, and a white pick guard (I have Olympic white) This Vintera nocaster is gorgeous though. Can't wait until I get a chance to try one and play it.
The Fender Baja is a far better buy if you can find one.. It is all of this and more for less... The Baja 50s has an ash body which is period correct... This one has Alder.... The Baja carries a twisted tele neck pickup and a broadcast bridge pickup. Overall a much better package than this over priced release..
That's because fender was going to call this guitar the " broadcaster" originally and gretsch already had the rights to that name. So they removed the name and called it the "nocaster" and didn't put it on the head stock. Later on it became the telecaster. That's why it's not got the name on the head stock. It's period correct for that time.
@@manson90x22 it’s a Tele! No such thing as a no caster. Or a broadcaster. They’re just names on the Tele design. Looks like a Tele. Sounds like a Tele. A friend has them all. All sound the same. I’ve 9 Teles, all sound the same! The only one that’s different is the Esquire because it’s got one pickup up but it’s still a Telecaster.
@@KRAZEEIZATION you're not getting the reason. It's nothing to get mad about. It's the company that made the guitar in the first place being period correct before it was called a telecaster.
@@Sourhernrockanthologyshow I’m not mad. I know the story. I mainly own only Fender guitars. Getting back to the point, at the end of the day it’s a telecaster. Badge or no badge! It’s marketed at people that must own a Telecaster without the word Telecaster on it!
Where is this going to get you in life? The fact that YOU don't like what you heard is only going to HURT YOU more. Either way, with years of experience behind my back, I still thought it sounded better than anything I can come up with. You can't decide for someone like me or the guy who played the inital tones, so, think what you want and in the future I hope you remember this so you think twice before being a jerk.
really like the chords and licks he used, sounds really good

Seems like a very fine instrument
If I didn’t already have my Baja Tele I’d be all over this beauty!
Damn Fender have done a great job on these.
Where can I get an extended version of that intro!
🤣
@6:43 Ziggy Stardust
Does it come with the ashtray cover? If it does I’ll get it.
You can buy them separately.
I bought one and never use it.
It just stays in the case.
@@powbobs oh cool, I should look for one then

God,please stop playing that riff at the 8th fret
Make it your ring tone lol
It’s not true to specs, in fact the body is made out of alder instead of ash
oh nooo!
Uehs❤❤❤❤😂🎉😊😅😂😅
€1200 for a Fender that has “Telecaster” missing from the headstock!!!

Because its a replica of a nocaster....
