He seems like a great quarterback with special talent who was not developed the way he should’ve been. Think that Mike will turn him into a Heisman contender.
I watched his interview after the campus visit with FSU. He looks like the type of young man every parent prays their daughter brings home. Once CMN and Tokarz works with him the sky’s the limit.
Better O line/running game/new WR at FSU, plus better coaching will have him looking great. He makes the difficult throws and is a threat in the red zone with his quickness and size. FSU has a discount Cam Newton.
@@domenicdurante966 I think he'll get the best coaching, the best scheme, that is tailored to what he does well, and the best play calling that he's had yet.
I think DJ will definitely be beneficial against clemson. He knows their offense and schemes. He knows how their defense plays. Yes clemson will need a a whole nee game plan however he will know the abilities of many of the guys he is facing and will know their weeknesses and holes are. I just hope he holds on to the ball and doesnt turn it over much
Clemson coaches didn't show confidence in DJ? He started every game for two years. Dabo rode with him as far as he could go. There's got to come a point in time when a player is able to muster up the confidence himself that only he can. Also, I think it's also true that DJ didn't always have the best supporting cast on the field. Oline and wide receiver issues. As I mentioned in another post, he'll need plenty of help.
DJ played tremendously well in two 2020 games, was awful for the entire 2021 season, and good (not great) in 2022 and 2023. He will need play makers around him and excellent blocking. He's not fast but he is a big guy and tough to bring down. His pocket presence is sometimes an issue. Strong arm. Accuracy fluctuates. Appears as though he gets down at times. Not a rah rah guy. An okay pick up for the 'Noles, but don't expect a dual threat qb like Jordan Travis.
UPDATE: In a coming headline late next year: "DJ opts out of 2024 post season games and heads for the 2025 portal...." Live by the portal, die by the portal. Try developing blue chip HS players. Bowden had success pulling 7 QB's from a single high school in the same city as FSU and a Heisman winner a mere 30 minutes away.
The fact that Dumbo destroyed the Bowden building is the problem that Mike faces to this day. This the reason that we built the 23 team with the portal. DJ will be fine in 2024
Yall are a trip smh the dj hate is ridiculous at this point he's a nole gonna be qb1 and probably win a lot of games lol crazy yall act like we beat him when he played against us ,yall will be his biggest fans by season end 2024
He's probably not gonna go undefeated, so I guess lol. We need a high character, experienced QB to help out the young QB room, and it helps that he's won the ACC before. Winning the ACC seems like a fine goal with him at QB
What were your thoughts on what Joe and Matt said about DJ?

Trust Norvell and staff,it will be DJ's best season going into the NFL draft.Go NOLES,Go DJ.🔥🏈🏆

I think DJU is going to have his best year in 24
I know he’s going to ☝🏼☝🏼

I'm sure Norvell knows more than dj about clemson's schemes. Just sayin
@@garnetgoldandglory7249 dj spent what 2 yrs in the team. Yes Norvell knows but over someone who spent time playing them?
I’m glad we cut the interview with the first guy short.. Ira had to carry that joker. Oregon guy was a fantastic listen, however.
After watching dj u's game by game highlights. Hell, I want Martinez, oregon states running back..lol
DJ did everything he was supposed to do while he was at Clemson. Go Tigers!
But where to next?

It was said he wasn't given the opportunity to run the offense and make adjustments mid snap etc... due to lack of confidence.
Dj wants get back
That QUARTERBACK IS BADASS!! How we didn't sign Bolden and White!!! Makes no sense
Who’s white?

Doesn’t or did OSU have a FSU kid maybe WR?
Yea it was one of Taggert recruits Treshaun Harrison.
