What makes this deck is terrifying, people not just mixing with despia darklord, they also playing despia shaddoll, despia dogmatika, despia albaz. I got confused by guessing which deck
I run invoked despia and it's so good both engine's are separate but synergies so well because if they stop one engine you have the other to back it up
Despia darklord makes it a lot easier and more consistent to summon the first darklord, it also adds some other strong Despia boss monsters, pure Darklord is slower and bricks a lot more
It's honestly nuts with how many Archetypes Despia pairs well I like it cuz Level 12 Disco Ball Negator and 5 Billion Shenshens started to get very stale
nice to see other Despian Darklord enjoyers i personally dont run the darklord traps in the deck but run Albaz and some handtraps n droplet def helps against a lot of decks like drytron n other good decks
Albaz is a good support card, but it takes some first hand slot to use him since Albaz need to discard 1 card for 1 card fusion. Not to mention if u didnt get some card searchers + its negatable
i am playing this deck for quite some time now and if your main goal is to focus on bringing your first dark lord on the field i can reccomend you light-imprisoning mirror. this card is a drytron players nightmare
@@dickerpimmel96 Light imprisoning mirror seems like a card that would only good at first turn. But drytron most of the time prefers giving us second rather than first, also it could still be chained too unlike Droplets/Superpoly
I think our natural enemies are tri brigade and striker decks... But we got darklord trpas to compensate.. Also you should add starving dragon.. It's a fusion monster that is super rare.. Search it
picked up pure dl's a couple of days ago and saw those dl's despia vids yesterday for the first time now running this combo and its so much fun mained dragon maids before and got bored to play with the same deck over and over again tried out eldich too but this archtype's playstyle is pretty boring maybe its because it was pure eldlich and not eldlich with zombieworld also it was before the conquistador nerfe im glad i found this one makes so much fun
Glad you like it! And yeah I am not an Eldlich fan myself, DL is more my speed, and Despia just rly works well together with them! Planning on playing them in the upcoming fusion festival
Not rly I think, I could only fuse Mudragon with 2 monsters of the same attribute on the field, so I could only activate it after VFD activated his effect (if I am not mistaken)
Darklords variant looks way more interesting and fun to play/watch Its more about clearing/nuking boards and OTK, Shaddoll variant is slower and more about controlling the board it all comes down to what playstyle you like more
Soooo i crafted the deck hoping to get to plat 1 this month and i discovered a brand new card called "Vanity's Emptiness" it was such a fun fight (spoiler it wasnt) nothing in the list can save you from that It would be cool to see the negatives match ups in the video :)
yeah floodgate cards like that rly should be limited more in master duel imo, they are just not fun and make most decks instantly lose when you don't open with a counter like twin twisters or something, and I feel you about also showing bad matchups, but uploading losing matches is just a bit weird to me, it's not that interesting to just see Vanity on the field and wait until I lose but good luck with the deck, I hope you also get to plat 1!

I think the biggest weakness might be ash blossom, a lot of cards can be negated by ash, worst card to be negated is Ixchel, since she discards herself and another Darklord card to draw 2, but because of ash you just lost 2 cards (is not that bad if you have monster reborn or Darklord Contact in hand, since you can get Ixchel back)
the 2 best Despia combo's are Darklord and Shadoll imo, depends if you like a slower more control centered deck (shadoll) or a more aggressive, otk deck (darklord)

I don't have a second super poly (this deck hurts my gems) and I run 3 because the field spell is very important in the deck so I rly want to make sure I have a copy or card that can search it turn 1, some people even run terraforming for even more consistency
I see a lot of people who don’t run “Albion the Branded Dragon,” I myself don’t know how to bring him out. How would you do it? Also how are “Darklord Nasten” and “Branded in White” for this deck? I have them in Royal finish and would like to use them. XD
@@smilemarcelo Branded in White is only really good if you run Despia/Albaz as a pure thing. Nasten is also not really that great for Darklord/Despia. You can run it, but not recommended.

In extra deck Albion the Branded Dragon and Titaniclad the Ash Dragon, and in main deck Fallen of Albaz I think, that should spice the deck up a bit probably

Not that much, since you have some ways to recycle your one first darklord like Despia theatre, but I did have to summon him a couple times though, if that's the only card you miss I would just play with one, should be fine honestly
I've been running darklords despia for about a week now. I've used my second darklord a few times in some longer duels. Added Morningstar to hand, used Morningstar in my fusion into the 1st darklord, used that specific fusion combo to wipe a board I couldn't break. Then you have 2x 4k beatsticks and an empty board to attack
No Dark Kaiju and no s/t removal and 15Extra deck go to plat1 make me feel that is so lucky.. (go first and not get floodgate or 3-4 negate board, or rarely meet D.D.Dynamite bot)
You'd be surprised how good Despia darklord can be turn 2 against negate boards, you just have to bait the negates before fusing your boss and I think the DDDynamite decks are slowly disappearing, since I don't see them that often anymore, maybe I was lucky idk, but I played quite a bit wit them and got from plat 4 to 1 pretty smoothly

understandable man, Buckle up, this is gonna be a long comment ;) first of all, the 2 main bosses are The First Darklord and Despia Quaeritis, the best way to summon these fusion monsters is with the field spell Despia, Theatre of the Branded. you need 3 dark fairies for The First Darklord (most monsters in this deck) and for Quaeritis you need 1 Depia monster and 1 light or dark monster. Once you have these monsters in your hand or on your field, you can activate the effect of Despia, Theatre of the Branded to fusion summon that monster. Useful monsters to use for this summon are Dramaturge of Despia; since when he is used for a fusion summon, you can summon him on the field by activating his effect; or Despian Tragedy since when he is send to the graveyard or banished by a card effect, you can add a Despia monster to your hand. Best way to get Despia, Theatre of the Branded in your hand is by the effect of Aluber the Jester of Despia, when he is summoned he can add a Branded spell or trap to your hand, you can also special summon Aluber by using Branded opening. this deck also has a lot of draw power with cards like Allure of Darkness, Darklord Ixchel, banishment of the Darklords and Indulged Darklord. Because of this you have to rly just draw cards and search cards until you have all the needed cards to summon on of the big fusion boss monsters. Another tip is to try and get Darklord Superbia in the graveyard together with another Darklord monster. With the effect of The First Darklord, you can special summon Superbia and after that use superbia's effect to special summon another monster from the Graveyard and you can do all of this during your opponents turn! Be careful though! Superbia's effect can miss timing, to prevent this you need to make sure you activate the effect of The First Darklord as the First effect in a chai, (when multiple effects are used after each other they "chain" you can literally see a chain on the card with a number in it, this number must be 1 on The First Darklord to activate superbia's effect afterwards). Also when Theatre of the Branded is on the field and one of your fusions is in the graveyard when a non fusion fairy is send to the gy, you can special summon that fusion from the gy, this also works if the fusion and non fusion fairy are destroyed together! Whew, sorry for the long comment, this were the basics of the deck I think, if you have more specific questions, fire away, I am here to help Also, recommend testing the deck out in solo mode to get a feel of it, and watch some replays on youtube (I have 2 on my channel) to get to know some useful combo's. Hope this helped!
Yeah sorry, it's quite the expensive deck, but I am a Darklord enjoyer, so worth it! And the Despia engine is pretty fun, and can be used in other decks too
I personally think the deck is strong, it got me to play 1 easily so can't complain, don't know what's "meme" about this deck, just be careful for ash when you play this deck
You can for sure win! strongest option is to fuse the first darklord using morningstar to wipe the field, when you pull this off you basically win, you can also use the Despia fusion to reduce monsters atk to 0 and just flood the field with big beatsticks, I have another Darklord video on my channel where I win like this, of course big negate boards are a problem, but that's a problem for most other decks too, droplet helps there though
That sucks, the meta has changed a bit, but I feel getting to plat should not be a problem with this deck, maybe add some good staples like called, imperm and droplet?
maybe you got unlucky with your opponents? also, a small tip, With this deck it is important to "bait the ash" I always assume they have ash ready, and try and use a card that I don't mind being negated first, so I can still come back after ash, this saved me a lot of times.
I personally disagree, you have a lot of search/ draw cards so fusing one of you boss monsters is not that hard, I do agree interruptions like ash can be problematic, but I got to plat 1 easy, which already makes the deck at least "not bad" right?
Idk how you played against this many bad players and decks....nobody set up a turn one omni negate on you or had any OTK decks, these guys were just bronze noobs.

The shadoll variant is more control with winda. With darklords is more to otk

If a NON fusion fairy gets destroyed or leaves the field by your opponent, you can summon a lvl 8 or higher fusion from your graveyard

For Branded Dragon in this deck you might have to add some more light monsters, or you could always use your opponents monsters with super Polly

Best way to get Despia, Theatre of the Branded in your hand is by the effect of Aluber the Jester of Despia, when he is summoned he can add a Branded spell or trap to your hand, you can also special summon Aluber by using Branded opening. this deck also has a lot of draw power with cards like Allure of Darkness, Darklord Ixchel, banishment of the Darklords and Indulged Darklord. Because of this you have to rly just draw cards and search cards until you have all the needed cards to summon on of the big fusion boss monsters. Another tip is to try and get Darklord Superbia in the graveyard together with another Darklord monster. With the effect of The First Darklord, you can special summon Superbia and after that use superbia's effect to special summon another monster from the Graveyard and you can do all of this during your opponents turn! Be careful though! Superbia's effect can miss timing, to prevent this you need to make sure you activate the effect of The First Darklord as the First effect in a chai, (when multiple effects are used after each other they "chain" you can literally see a chain on the card with a number in it, this number must be 1 on The First Darklord to activate superbia's effect afterwards). Also when Theatre of the Branded is on the field and one of your fusions is in the graveyard when a non fusion fairy is send to the gy, you can special summon that fusion from the gy, this also works if the fusion and non fusion fairy are destroyed together!

Yeah sorry, it's quite the expensive deck, but I am a Darklord enjoyer, so worth it! And the Despia engine is pretty fun, and can be used in other decks too

I personally think the deck is strong, it got me to play 1 easily so can't complain, don't know what's "meme" about this deck, just be careful for ash when you play this deck

You can for sure win! strongest option is to fuse the first darklord using morningstar to wipe the field, when you pull this off you basically win, you can also use the Despia fusion to reduce monsters atk to 0 and just flood the field with big beatsticks, I have another Darklord video on my channel where I win like this, of course big negate boards are a problem, but that's a problem for most other decks too, droplet helps there though

That sucks, the meta has changed a bit, but I feel getting to plat should not be a problem with this deck, maybe add some good staples like called, imperm and droplet?

also, a small tip, With this deck it is important to "bait the ash" I always assume they have ash ready, and try and use a card that I don't mind being negated first, so I can still come back after ash, this saved me a lot of times.

this deck is very bad it needs to go first and not be interacted with or just draw the best 5 cards in the opener if you go second
I personally disagree, you have a lot of search/ draw cards so fusing one of you boss monsters is not that hard, I do agree interruptions like ash can be problematic, but I got to plat 1 easy, which already makes the deck at least "not bad" right?
Idk how you played against this many bad players and decks....nobody set up a turn one omni negate on you or had any OTK decks, these guys were just bronze noobs.
