I was in Baarn (The Netherladns) last weekend at Soestdijk Palace. It was a cold afternoon with cloudy sky. This man came up and started his performance with Porz Goret. It was an amazing experience. When I was sitting there I was shocked.... I have listened his music for many years and finally I had the chance to watch him on live.

This was on the radio when I was driving to work at 3:30 am this morning. Kinda gave me an energy boost even tho I had only slept for 3 hrs.
I was improvising on the piano last night and came up with a melody I liked, but it sounded familiar. After thinking for a while, I realised it was Tempelhof. Yann Tiersen probably influences me more than any other composer.
I am so glad one my favorite pianists and composer is listening to the same work as me! Your original pieces and classical work is just amazing. I remember putting Daydreaming and springtime on replay for days and never getting bored of it. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. Big fan

Yann Tiersen, you are the reason that I fell in love with the piano. The first piece I learned was l'apres midi and from there I worked my way through a piano book collection of your work. My family loved hearing your beautiful pieces every day and I loved losing myself in the music. Now, I am living on my own and I haven't been able to touch a piano in over three months. I am craving it. Thank you for bringing joy to so many people. This, as always, is beautiful.

After following his music for so many years, I was finally able to see him live in Los Angeles. Words can’t describe how beautiful this was nor how it took me back to my childhood days. His music has brought me nothing but peace throughout my life, and his concert will always be something in my life I will always cherish.
I've been in Montreal yesterday night (May-30th) for the Concert. It changed my life. I knew you were good, but not THAT good. You master all instruments you play, you have a vibrant Experimental tune, but with such a maturity in your sounds that for 1h45m i tottaly forgot who were I and where I was. Absolutely brillhant!

I heard this song for the first time 2 years ago right after my first trip to Berlin. I found the song name so familiar that I looked it up and then I knew.
A week ago I arrived in Berlin again and wow, listening this while I’m here just a few blocks away from Tempelhof airport is just amazing. Just can’t explain how moved I am right now.

For the last few years it has accompanied me in the happiest and strongest moments of my life; I listened to it to meditate on my fight against cancer and also to do reiki with my father on his deathbed. At the same time, is has accompanied me on a trip around the world, I listened to and it was the best description of majesty before my eyes. For whoever doesn't know Templehof is an ex airport strip converted in a huge public park and space in the heart of Berlin. And it's just next to my apartment here and it's my favorite place in the world.

The great issue in Yann Tiersen songs, specially Tempelhof and Pern is that deepness, contemplative, provocative and thinkfull melodies. I'm not shure about you, but i hear this kind of music thinking about me and how I'm selfish, how i've hurt people i love, for so few i sell all i am and could be, how blind i was to other people problems and suffocate with my own. Still learning how to be a good someone.

For anyone wondering what Anna is singing, I’m fairly sure it’s two different phrases in Swedish. “Hur kan vi leva såhär” “Hur kan man leva sådär”. It means “How can we live like this?” and “How can one live like that?”.
