Doe Runner & Cream of the Crop running sideXside like that reminded me of the 80's USHRA events when they would have funny cars & modified tractors running next to each other like that. I know they run double tracks at a lot of events these days (not running against each other), but seeing them start at the same time looked really cool.
That’s a good pull I hear. Should be about the same time regardless of 1 track or 2. Just have something to look at in the other track during hooking up and pulling off the track. Very seldom do they get synced and pull both tracks at the same time. We filmed it in 2018 where a gas and diesel truck took I’ll at the exact same time.
I love watching these trucks, -probably my favorites if I had to pick. Is Tyler Cobb's truck running Ford power? If so, I am very curious about it! That is one helluva good running setup he has there. I know, it's not all about the truck, but that one sure seems to stand out. It is pretty amazing that 85% of the guys on the board are within several feet of each other, -amazing that the competition is that tight! Thanks again for the videos!
Tyler is running a Sonny's World Class Racing Engine. They run all the way up to 1675HP the last I checked on numbers. But Tyler puts it to the ground. Not an advertisement for Sonny or his craft, but I have sat down with him and had some good conversations. We put his logos on stuff like puller cards and videos when he supports class events. I haven't had too much help from other engine builders so I can't say anything about them. The Bandit is one of the more photogenic trucks on the tour and that is a fact. Bright colors make a good video and photo.
Can stop watching your video back again guys thanks for taking the time for us all
Thanks Scott.

Yeah, I thought the same. I know the sled were weighted differently, but it was still very cool to experience first hand.
Awesome video
They pulled at Norwalk boy it was a long night for a single track with 23 trucks
