The comment immediately below is correct. The one survivor was hanging onto the hull of the boat, & the other 2 had been washed away by huge waves, according to him. After 3 days or so, it was assumed there was zero chance of survival (no life boats, no flotation devices), so the search was ended.
This clip is hilarious, but don’t think what he’s saying is factual. When those football players from Miami went missing, they searched for them nonstop for days, and they actually found 1 of the 3 and he survived.
