RC started at the beginning of 2013.. since we were not allowed when we cruised in Dec. Put it in your CARRY ON to board the boat.. (but remember it won't be allowed in your carry on the plane if you fly to port).

I do have a question about check in. So my husband and I are taking a Carnival cruise and it leaves from New Orleans. On Carnival's website it says that check in is from 1:00 to 3:00, but I've heard a lot of people say that they are on the boat a lot earlier than the check in time says...is that true? Can you board earlier than the time listed on the website? Thanks so much!
I was wondering if you knew the new rules about taking drinks on Royal. I was told you could take 2 bottles of wine per stateroom and then was told by a couple people they tried and got it taken away. This was in February. I'm planning another cruise in October for my birthday and was wondering what the rule is now. Thank you.
Hey, wait a minute... I think I know you and Mike... let Deb and I know about any geocaching cruises coming up... I opted for a Cayman/Mexico cruise I had to plan on my own recently after the Bermuda from Baltimore fell through... that or when Carnival finally gets back to Norfolk next year...
Brian... we have Bermuda in May, 4 cabins left but it is almost full! We are cruising then going to GeoWoodstock afterwards in Hagerstown. The next cruise after that is August to the Caribbean. I got some GREAT prices for a summer cruise. I don't think we will plan groups out of Norfolk, prices too high, and I'm not impressed with the ship that will be here..and Carnival is not known for how it works with groups. I personally always take mine when I leave the country, because if you get 'left' on an island..you need it. However, it is completely up to the ITINERARY of where you and going and where you are leaving from. So you need to check with your agent or the cruise line a few months before you go to see if you need it for your cruise.

Can you reload the card they give you with cash ..
They confiscate any alcohol on the cruise, regardless of it you buy it on the ship or not. You will get it back on the last night of your cruise.
