I find that I lean more toward the INFJ, but I do come up with new innovations and ideas to improve someone's life.

@@MindfulMix3.0 I am most glad to share my perspectives. In terms of being an INFJ, with a hint of INTJ, which I believe that we all have dominant personalities with other personalities recessive in nature. For starters, my name KURT means in English; Brave, Bold and wise counsel. Would you say that that is a coincidence? I believe it was divinely chosen by God for me and I do live up to it. Strangers walk up to me and this is always their opening statement to me;" I don't know you but I feel comfortable telling you this and I have never told anyone else this before ". In terms of my other perspective in formulating innovative ideas, I will share one of them. I was at a health expo in our local park in my country and I came across a booth that said," Heart and Stroke Foundation ", they were promoting just how to revive a person using the external defribulator, which is portable. I thought for a few seconds to myself, and then I suggested to them, why don't you teach First Aide along with this? The woman looked at me in amazement with her eyes wide open," That's a great idea, why don't you come and propose it to the board"? I said as most INFJs would," Nah, just do it" and the rest is history. I even went to the same Foundation and got certified in CPR and First Aide.
I usually like to work from the background in terms of giving ideas and don't take credit for them. I get my satisfaction from that. I can say that I am truly unique. I thank you for responding to my comment. I hope that this would be an inspiration to you and others who read it. God bless you and what you do.

That's a truly inspiring story, Kurt! Your name definitely seems to reflect your character, and your ability to balance both the caring nature of the INFJ and the innovative thinking of the INTJ is impressive. It’s amazing how you use your empathy to connect with others and your intuition to offer practical solutions, like the one at the health expo. You clearly have a gift for seeing what others might overlook and then making a real impact behind the scenes. Thank you for sharing your experience and for being a source of inspiration to everyone who reads your story. Keep being that unique blend of courage, wisdom, and kindness that you are. Thank you for your kind words!

02:28 ... I hear this a lot. But INFJs are not "empathetic". They are specifically *sympathetic. INTJs might be apathetic more often than not, but even they end up more empathetic. Empathy is not simply understanding how people feel, but actively going out of your way to do the right thing. INFJs are actually afraid doing the right thing will either limit their freedom or draw attention, and most often end up refusing to deal with anything. INTJs are the contrary, specifically with the idea of possibly being able to send a message. As funny as it sounds, it really is being empathetic.

You really can’t stand INFJs, huh!? 😄
Jokes aside, you’ve shared a really interesting perspective. It seems like your interpretation of empathy goes beyond just emotional understanding and includes taking concrete action to do the right thing, which is a great observation.
Regarding INFJs, they’re generally described as some of the most empathetic types, able to deeply perceive and understand others' emotions. But I get that maybe your experiences have led you to see them differently, perhaps as people who tend to avoid conflict to preserve their freedom.
As for INTJs, you’re right in saying that even if they might seem cold or apathetic, their empathy can manifest through strategic actions and practical solutions. It’s a different, but equally valid, way of caring for others.
It’s interesting how our personal experiences can shape how we perceive these personality types. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

@@MindfulMix3.0 I actually first found out from CS Joseph that INFJs where specifically sympathetic long before I realized there was a problem. And it's something I'm currently trying to keep in mind with my older INFJ friend so I don't bother him too much.
It's why they always bring up that they just want to live their own lives without anyone causing them problems. Aside from manipulation, they'll help out of a sense of integrity, but they really don't like having to deal with people. Fe parent is only meant to protect their Ti child. Not to cater to others. According to the INFJ I've worked with, he feels like people take his options away. Which is the same thing the INFJ Groomer kept complaining to me about.
They all say they specifically want a small group of Fe people because they don't need negativity in their lives from having to babysit people. Just like every NF/ST type, they believe nobody is truly good or innocent. Which is why they don't mind loosing friends. According to them, nobody is ever actually a friend anyway. They know how people feel, but it's not their problem if people aren't mature. They're knowingly reckless with their relationships because they can't actually empathize.
It's the problem my older brother always has dealing with people. In the case of the groomer, I have no reason to care, other than the problems she'll continue to cause. But in the case of my brother, even if he disagrees with me, it's sad. And it's one of the other reasons I'm trying to be optimistic about the older INFJ to get some more answers. It's hard to find INFJs mature enough to have honest conversations with.
