This kind of information would be amazing to have in the instruction manual 😊 keep up the good work guys! Loving my Emove cruiser btw!!
@@miroslavberecici5448 👍 😄, I’ve only had mine for a little over three weeks.
This saved me a 45 minute trip back to the store that I bought my scooter from. I had no idea why it wasn't moving from a stand still or getting over about 13 km/h during my first test ride at home (due to heavy rain at the store location preventing a test ride beforehand). Thanks for the info!
I can go in the rain no problem on my ninebot max. Might not be as fast but it will last and not make me have to look outside before I ride.
Amazing video man, so flipping helpful considering my scooter didn’t come with a proper manual! thanks🙏🏿
Seconded! It's the same reason I'm here.
Funnily, an obscure part number I found inside the throttle circuitry pointed me to this video. The seller AND manufacturer couldn't get me this info. Funny how things work out! Lol
These are the best settings.
P0 - 10 wheel diameter
P1 - 43 low volt protect
P2 - 15 minimum wattage
P3 - 1 speedometer
P4 - 1 mph
P5 - 1 kickstart
P6 - 0 cruise
P7 - 1 acceleration
P8 - 100 power limit
P9 - 2 electronic brake
Only change P0 to 10 if you have tubeless tires. If you have a tire diameter of 10 then it is set to 10. In other words go based off your tire diameter. The first number on tires.
I almost fell out of my scooter so I chose P7 01, I'm no longer afraid THANK U!!
Pee Zero all the way for me. It's great it can be adjusted for diffent riders though, do appreciate that ability.

Just got mine. It’s great to be fair. Plenty of speed and still haven’t charged it yet after 70km of use. Has 53v left. Crazy range. Built very well too. Heavy little bastard though.
Thank you! Oh and if you hold the power button down after making a selection it goes back in the menu
That is exactly what I was looking for my friend, thank you so much for posting this video. Over 50 lb is not something I'd like to kick start...
Umm ok wow. I just bought mines a week ago. I just came because I was trying to find out how to turn off cruise control and the take off.. I found it 💯
Thank you for this video. I just bought a ROLLGOOD electric scooter and the P-settings were identical, in order, to what yours were concerning the settings. Thanks. VERY INFORMATIVE, and I'm grateful that it now measures in MPH, not Kmh
AJ you are a natural in front of the camera.
Keep Up the great work
P3 sure looks useful. Glad its right in the middle of the menu. That should keep things simple and user friendly.
This tutorial flowed nicely. :) I look forward to getting my new EMOVE Cruiser. Thanks!
Awesome unadvertised feature. We can charge our phones! Just ordered my Touring yesterday after watching hours of videos. It was a Hard choice between the Emove Touring and the Fluid Horizon. Customizability (is that a real word) is what sold me.
Thank you for the clear and easy explanation of everything! This is only my second scooter and I've learned a lot from your videos! Thank you..from Niagara Falls Canada 🇨🇦
My Touring came with 3\5 bars of a charge.. and the wheel size wasn't setup.. so I went for about a 4 mile ride and it was down to 1 bar on the battery meter.. Another mile and I would have made it to the local market but I turned around. So far it's fun and a pretty solid machine.
It's bad for the battery to leave it too high or too low for too long, so they leave it at medium for battery life when not being used(when no one is riding).
Just ordered my cruiser and I’m so happy to know that I can have regenerative breaking ! Awesome.
@@Stylezsnyc Dude I just got one and just buy it. I've tested over 15 scooters and this one is my favorite

I hope this is now solved..
This model is so good with distance and solid speed.
Still price is a maybe little higher for now.
Great tutorial. Thanks! Even with the soft acceleration setting, I still feel like my Cruiser accelerates very quickly from nothing and jerks me around a bit. Any way we can get a firmware update to have the option to make it even softer?
I was given a Grundig E scooter with Seat, great scooter for offroading. Just couldnt work out the menu system, this video helped very much. Cheers mate!
Needs an update.
P0 is a speedometer scale adjuster.
P1 is a battery scale adjuster. It adjust how your battery bar displays from full to empty. Doesn't affect LVC at all (I've had my Cruiser at 44v and the P1 at 48v, doesn't do a thing).
P9 is not a regen brake at. Others have said all it does it add a little bit of resistance to maintain steady speeds while going down hill. I can't detect it doing anything of any real note.
Thank you, sir.
You are the best
Do you have a video on the set up for the new emove cruiser s ?
Cheers, very useful information.
what the heck i didnt even know it has a usb port haha pretty cool now i can charge when emergency occurs

Hahaha, hey, boss! Can you help me with my p menu? My girlfriend says its kinda small.
Normally a problem south of the border, can buy great big giant utes called "trucks" for that. The smaller ones menu, the bigger truck one needs to buy.
great video! quick question on the P8 if I put 80% and keep on speed 1 is it possible I can get longer mileage ?
I just bought a Cruiser, literally hours ago, and have officially began the waiting journey. While excited about that, I'm a little confused about the low voltage protection setting (P1), and I noticed this video was from 2020, while the model I bought was the 2021. Even the batteries are different, I believe, so should it be set to 430 regardless? Replies appreciated.
Thank You!!!
Thank you so much
That's so cool bad ass

Can we add the Mobile with USB and have all this detail coming up on Mobile ???

this scooter would be a billion times better with written instructions. watching this video over and over and over trying to find out WHERE in the video the instruction you're looking for it. and having something to refer to on the road so we can make adjustments as needed would be better than trying to go through the video again
I laughed when he got really close to preemptively scold commenters
So the Touring I have for the P7 setting its the opposite. 1 is hard acceleration and 0 is soft. I prefer the soft acceleration too. I don't really want to be jerked around especially when you just need a bit of juice to take you up and down driveways.
Bro I thought my scooter was glitching. Until now 😂
My odometer got reset when I switched from miles to kilometers. Now when I went back to miles it shows the new setting. It lost all the miles I did under the miles/hr setting.
Very helpful thanks
Can you do a video of the p9 settings in real world? My p9 is at 2 and I don't notice a deceleration. Thanks!
The electric brake is activated when you actually use your brake levers, which is weird.
@@alexisjavier84 the electric brake (regen) should activate any time you decelerate tap your brake or throttle and you should notice the motor slowing you down. if not change the setting
My square wave controller never exhibited electronic braking as expected. When I swapped it for a sine wave controller, suddenly electronic braking works and very noticeable just a second after pressing the brake lever.
Great info thanks!
#voromotors can we get full repair breakdowns for the wkgt and wolf warrior ex stem motors deck pad and or simple adjustments overall thanks btw I work for you guys so it'll definitely help me out
About the electric break: I'm not educated in the technical engineering of this technology so I want to understand what exactly changes between 0, 1 and 2 settings. I'm guessing it's that break that hits when I stop accelerating even though I'm not actually hitting the breaks. I hate it because sometimes I let go of the accelerator to let the momentum carry me while I slow down but the break kills enough of the momentum that I have to accelerate again even with the P9 set to 0. Am I on the wrong setting or are the electric breaks something completely different?
Is there a way to know what's the corresponsive speed per percentage?
Eg. how many mph is 70%?
Is there a chart or something to see this or it's just trial and error?
It would be useful if there was a chart.

any chance this is written down anywhere? no instructions came with my scooter and i learn better when i read. it's also easier looking up what you need than it is to stop and watch a video
Is the electric break a regenerative break?
Now that's a good question? Does it dump the energy back in to the battery, or just dump it as heat in to a resistor?
i dont think this scooter is that advanced if anything i think if u have it set to strong brake which is 2 your battery will die quicker because its using more battery
Waiting for my touring to arrive. If electronic braking is turned on, how does it work? A lever? Or does just releasing the trigger do it? Thanks. Great, informative video btw.
VOROMOTORS Don't think mine works! Especially while in cruise mode the brakes don't cut cruise out just the throttle is that normal?

Hello! I've tried to do this but the screen in my throttle is different. It appears like SO then under the SO _ _ _ _.
Good, but are these explained in the manual?
I think they should be included because they sound important.
Just purchased the cruiser and I love it. Problem is, the odometer. When I changed it from km/h to mph, the odometer didn’t change. Is the odometer in kilometers or miles?
HI I am not aware if you already have a tutorial on installing an alarm on the E Move cruiser, but if you don't", would it be possible to do a wiring tutorial on an Alarm fitting please?
it would be possible in the future, but I'm not very familiar with modding the scooters, ill keep this in mind in the future though!
Thank you for this video. I have an issue, my emove cruiser reset the odo. I know it's waterproof but the plastic covering for the on off button came off and I'm not sure if water got in and messed it up?

Will the odometer reset if i swap throttle/display?
Don’t mess with the voltage protection keep it to where it was. My emove was acting up it was studdering power to my motor and I couldn’t ride it anymore my brain told me to change the voltage protection back to factory and my scooter seems to be working not sure how long this will last but I’ll let you know. It shouldn’t be happening to the point where you can’t ride even with full charge but when I changed mine it even changed the bars on my scooter so I believe it will even effect how much of a charge you get. I hope this fixes your problems if your having the same issue I was but let’s hope it was a permanent fix so I don’t have to warranty it.
Hi Albert,
I'm sorry you had that issue with your scooter, but we agree that the Low Voltage Protection setting for your scooter should be kept to factory settings in most situations. Changing it can effect a number of things including the battery's ability to hold charge.
If you are still having any issues, please feel free to reach out to us at support@voromotors.com, though. We're always happy to help!
@@VoroMotors The thing is after changing the settings on my scooter it seems to be working again however when I change it back to 52 or even 50 where it was my bars are at 3 but when I move it back down they go back to full kinda weird but other than that everything seems to be working.
We're glad to hear your issue is largely resolved, but again, should you have any concerns, feel free to reach back out. We're always happy to help and answer questions. :)
Thanks for the video. The exclamation mark appears on the screen every time I brake. Is that normal?
Yes I just got a scooter it's not even 2 weeks old and I noticed that wire going into the back to LCD was loose way too small for the whole the other big hole wasn't even covered up but I noticed when I raise a handlebars up and down it must have wiggled the wire or something because now my scooter won't turn on when I turn the key on LCD doesn't light up but I could push the menu button or that the power button on hold it down in the horns the light will come on and the horno honk but I was just wondering if you had any ideas about that
are all P settings the same on different displays
I actually have a Emove cruiser bought in 2020, so the question is that the odo of my scooter display almost reach to the number of 9999.9, is there any way to reset it to 0?
Hi there can you turn the brightness down on the panel
thx
Is there a way to back feed power through the usb port on the display? I’d like to be able to carry an external power supply I could plug in to get home in a pinch.
Hi there!
While we understand the natural inclination to use a USB port as a charger, that is not its intended purpose. The USB port on the display doesn't make for a good charger if you ever do plug in a device, and in fact, we would advise against it, as it is not meant to pull power like is required to charge a phone or other device.
The port's intended use is as a means to re-program the LCD display alone.
It most certainly is not a means by which you can feed power back into the scooter, and we would not recommend trying anything like what you are suggesting. Sorry! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions, though!
Anyway to dim the screen?
It’s so bright at night
Hello sir, do you know how to turn on panel lights on that thing? I had blue like yours, but somehow I turned it off, shows everything on panel but no blue light anymore
For whatever reason it works most accurate with wheel size set to 6. I don't get any change with 'soft' acceleration. And e brake seems non existent
Michael Armani I agree on my touring I don't know how the ebrake works? and the drum brake comes out the line housing often which is annoying I'll know because the brakes go all loose.
THE W4RRIOR5 CODE , agree. Its kind of dangerous, I need to figure out a wY to secure it, maybe a zip tie will work.
I took a part my emove touring and put it back and now it will only go 17 mile per hour why😊
Can you explain about The battery voltage ? When it’s on 52 is it fully charge? and what number should I get when it’s 10 percent Battery left?
Cruiser uses a 14s li-ion pack so full charge should be 58.8v and drained should be about 46v
Leave it on kick start. I changed it and almost mowed someone down in an elevator.
I agree, if you don't have kick start it can be dangerous, not safe to remove kick start.
please help me with my lcd seetings because even if its already low voltage but the battery indicator is still 100%. tia
P2 is min wattage??? is it not poles number???
I have an identical scooter with this form this video but 48V 500W version and I have a question: on 2 and on 3 I seem to have the same power and max speed. max speed I tested with the wheel in the air and it is 39 km/h on both settings 2 and 3. Isn't this a little low especially with zero load? With me it barely goes more then 30 km/h. Specs were saying 45 km/h.
So I have a problem. XD my mode goes down on the P screen where as power goes up. Neither let's me select the p setting to change the settings. Because I need to turn off kick to start. I injured my ankle today doing such 😆
Nvm figured it out. For mine I have to hold menu to go into the p setting to change it.
Has anyone actually used the GUB U-Lock and attached it to a pole or fence somewhere? Did you feel safe leaving it?
If you set the brake settings to 2 doesn't the regenerative braking get less? Or is the regenerative braking not all that important?
I don’t think the Cruiser has regenerative braking and I don’t notice any difference whether it’s set to 0, 1, or 2. I don’t think this function works on this scooter.
Rick C Same on the touring the ebrake or regen doesn't seem to do anything
hello, how can I activate the automatic cruise control option
What do you mean for p2 minimum wattage . I got 800 watt motor what number should I set? I thought that the p2 was the number of the poles inside the motor... so the number 15 what does it mean ?
Something that we want to clarify on
For the EMOVE Cruiser
P0 = 10 (10" wheel)
For the EMOVE Touring
P0 = 8 (8" wheel)
If the settings for P0 is not following this, you might find yourself at a different displayed speed compared to the actual real life speed. For example, if you Cruiser P0 setting is set at 8, you might be travelling at 25mph but the display is showing 20mph.
At the time when the video is made, this is 1 minor mistake on the tutorial. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.
