Serie e coppia memorabile, poi è arrivato il secondo arco narrativo della prima stagione e da lì in poi hanno rovinato tutto, a cominciare dal personaggio di Asuna: non riesco a capire perché me l'abbiano addolcita così d'un tratto. Ora è diventata il classico stereotipo della ragazza anime dolce e gentile mentre prima in Aincrad devo dire che trasmetteva un certo fascino, probabilmente superiore a quello del protagonista, che portava lo spettatore ad interessarsi a lei. Voglio dire, dove cavolo è finita la Asuna di Aincrad? Quella che pur di unirsi a un party con Kirito lo minacciava con un coltello? Dov'è finita Asuna "La Saetta", una giocatrice con una velocità così elevata che neanche Kirito riusciva ad eguagliare? Dov'è finito tutto il suo carattere, la sua personalità, DOVEEEE? Ora in ALO mi viene relegata al ruolo di guaritrice che deve restare quasi sempre in panchina. Comunque complimenti, bell'AMV.
P.S.: Scusate il poema, ma qualcuno cerchi di capirmi, avevo bisogno di sfogare parte della frustrazione e delusione che mi ha inflitto questa serie xD.

Nice, but the series itself was not that memorable. It dwarfed other much more deserving series such as Psycho-Pass and Shin Sekai yori, which ran the following fall season (whilst SAO was still airing).

I agree, probably SAO is not the best anime in the world, for a lot of respectable reasons... but, somehow this series makes me crazy from the begining to the end. It's something personal that is not easy to explain... but I think that's the best anime (of this category) with the perfect mix between the love story and the main plot with all the fighting. In a few word, i loved it and I still love it :)

SAO was certainly not a perfect anime in terms of pacing, but nevertheless toying with psychological themes and a story of how the human will can defy the system in which a mere supercomputer can never comprehend. I loved it.
