Well, my first try. I took off an inch in each direction because I have a few I bought that are a little too loose. Mine turned out 8" tall by 9" wide! Could not get it over my head.... Guess I'll add an inch each way and see how that ends up.
I think you need that extra margin to get them over the head! Mine fit close to the neck without being snug, and when I layer it over the neckline of a sweater, they're just right. Hope that's the case for you on the second try! :)
@@normacooper6377 It does work! Just visit the blog here: whip-stitch.com/neck-warmer/ and you’ll find the PDF linked above the image near the end of the post. Have fun!
I don't sew on a regular basis so I'm really rusty, but I don't understand turning the right side out then sewing the ends together and turning it right side out again.... to me, that would put the wrong side out before stitching up the four inch section. What am I missing? Thank you.
Hello Deborah! We love your tutorial here at Woodland Community College, thank you for posting it! We have one question - where did you purchase that beautiful wool fleece fabric? It's got such a lovely floral pattern.
I counted the 1" squares on her cutting board. the large piece is 21 by 18.
Just made it using those numbers, can confirm

The link above to the measurements and instructions guide doesn't work.
After clicking the link, you need to type “neck warmer” into the search bar and that will take you to the tutorial.
@@TanyaAutumn80 it still doesn't work

Thank you so much! If I recall correctly, that was a find on Emma One Sock. She has such a great selection! Hope that helps!
@@Whipstitch Yes, that definitely helps, it looks like a fun place to purchase fabric! Thanks again and take care ❤
Hello! I don’t have a 2x3 zig zag stitch, I have a 1.5x3 and a 2x5, which should I use?
