Caroleans actually believed that God already decided when everyone should die so the faith in that made them march fearless because of if it not was their time God would protect them.
The Lord´s Prayer will ALWAYS be powerful! This time in the Swedish language
the Lords Prayer led millions of People into a horrible death! And made them to kill people before being killed! Nothing more or less! None of the mayor religions ever was just peacfull...

You should take a look at the great northern war animated history by kings and generals. You will learn all about the Swedish Caroleans. They won battle after battle against army's 2-5 times greater in numbers with ridiculous kill ratio. At the battle of Narva 1700 the Swedish army had 8500 men against 40.000 russian soldiers. The Russians was totally crushed.

Great reaction one's again. When they start singing swedish in the snglish version they are singing the lords prayer in swedish!
the part where it says "När konungens här" it shouldn't say "Now, the king is here", här means here, but not in that context, it can also mean army.
Real translation would be more accurate to be:
"When the kings army
Sees the enemy with raised banner"
The rest is accurate
16:41 No both are in Swedish just like they changed to Swedish in the English one a bit as well.
"Until the white of the eyes he sees, the Carolean marches forward" would be a better translation, it's basically about how they marched toward the enemy and when the enemy fired their guns the Caroleans would keep marching straight through the hail of bullets and not fire their first shot until much closer, something that led to much more accurate volleys, severely compromising enemy morale and also decimating their lines. At that point in time the weapons weren't that accurate so while the enemy wasted most of their shot the Caroleans really cut the enemy down when they finally fired their guns.
The part that talks about how a whole army marches as one, ready to lay down their lives... that part just gets me every time, so epic.
As for the part about the king's army, it is kind of badly translated un fortunately :) "When the king's army the enemy sees with raised banners, fear they have forgotten, the lord has judged (as in those that die were meant to die), hear them pray" or something like that, just did it on the fly :)
For me, on this one, it is the Swedish version.

I like the original inserts in Swedish. Check out the song sabaton "poltava" from this collection - it has two versions in English and Swedish with slightly different lyrics.

They released the carolus rex album in two versions, a English and a Swedish one. The difference being that the Swedish one tells the story from a Swedish soldier’s view while the English is more from an outsiders view.
