Hi Marco Thank you for your comment. I don't have measurements currently, but we asked OhFX about this, because we noticed it as well. They have indeed reached 15 meters during their testing in optimal conditions, they say. I think, one of the reasons we didn't shoot that far, is that during this indoor test, the air flow is sort of blowing against a back wall of our relatively small area (as you can also see in the second video) which might prevent the snow from being carried even further, since some of the air will be blowing back a bit. You can see that the snow is sort of flowing back towards the machine at it falls. We might also get a little more range by having the machine even higher up, and maybe angling it up a bit more. Just my guess at this point. We'll have to do more testing in different conditions to say for sure. - Christoffer, Mixpro Danmark A/S
@@mixprodanmark Yes, probably an outdoor test in non windy conditions would be more effective but I think that their measurement is a bit unrealistic in common environments. Anyway can you define satisfied of your purchasing? I mean, looks a bit expensive to me considering the actual performance! Cheers
@@marcocattaneo8737 All in all, this is a pretty good snow machine, in my opinion. The snow it makes looks good and is uniform, not like bigger chunks of foam. It's also much easier to use than our older foam/snow machine (the blue one you can see stored above my colleague) since you can just feed it OhFX's ready-to-use snow fluid, instead of having to mix a foam concentrate with water before using it. It's also a pretty compact machine, so it's easier to transport. Since we do equipment rental, we're a big fan of the modular design of the Sirocco machines too. We can have a couple of base blowers and use them with different heads for either confetti, snow or foam, depending on our customers' needs. That actually saves a lot of money compared to having many more separate machines for each use case. If you're interested in an quotation, I can get you some contact info for a local OhFX dealer.
