As a guy that stayed in hotels probably 200 nights a year for the past 25 years I sure hope that you guys doing leather work are on the first floor! For sure leather crafting is a 100% better choice if something to do than watching television. I like your videos and I like the work that you do. It's always great to see somebody that can still craft something of high quality.
Thank you very much. Luckily the tooling doesn’t require a lot of force so no major noise was made. I hope 🤞
I travel a lot for work and I have one suitcase for leather and tools and then one for clothes. I also Cary my stamp tools and my weight bag in my carry onto keep the weight down in my suitcases. I fly a lot!
Very nice, Right side up it's the cross of Jesus, upside down is the cross of Peter. Love the idea of taking craft on trips. Be safe, stay healthy and warm. Peace be with you.
Good video. I travel A LOT and also do leather work in my hotel rooms. My set up looks a lot like yours except for a couple bits. I have 2 poundo boards the size of my tooling block. One of which is glued to the bottom of my stone to help with sound dampening. Plus, I also have a piece of carpet that I set my stone on to help a bit more with sound. The other poundo board of course is used as normal.
Cool. I never thought that portable hotel leather craft could be a thing, but it might be more common than I thought.
NICE TO MAKE IT FOR MY DAUGHTER'S HUSBAND WHO PLAYS GUITAR IN A METAL BAND IN ARGENTINA.💙⚪💙👋
I was feeling stressed, watched you - now as calm as the Dead Sea. Subbed. Thank you 🙏
Seeing this made me imagine you carrying in a bunch of leather and tools while checking in. A bit of time later you emerge in a full set of leather armor shouting, "I. Am. Leather Man." Then you calmly pack up and leave.
What is the name of the bottle you used to apply your tokonole? That looks like a great way to store and use it.
Thanks. They are 5ml needle tip plastic squeeze bottles. Bought off eBay. $5
Do you find the push bevel is easier than a traditional? I struggle with the mallet and making straight bevels. Are there different applications you use one over the other?
It is pretty easy and fast for straight lines. Tight curves would be better with a traditional beveler.
What does "decretive" mean?
@@KingdomGloryLeather Ok, I give up now. Either you're illiterate, stupid, or childish. I asked perfectly intelligent questions, and I got idiotic answers. That says way more about you than it does about me. How sad.
@@Jer0867 Sorry, just joking around. To answer your first question it was a misspelling of the word decorative.
You're gonna pound the leather in a hotel room? I think that's going to bring a lot of complaints from other guests.
What is the Gospel?
