Hi, It really depends on various factors - 1) your ability to scale up and enhance your knowledge 2) your interest area , this is something you only can answer yourself. 3) i believe in excellence, whichever field you choose, just try to achieve the excellence in it rather than being mediocre 4) Opportunity wise , data engineering, test automation and data centric testing are very much on par
Yes , It depends on the target data model requirement, many time , migration projects are meant to be more than just plateform upgrade, they need to enhance the capability of the system and hence you may need transformations

We generally create a db link and compare. This is the way to compare 2 seperate databases
