- New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make a Lemon Strawberry Marble Pound cake. It consists of a Lemon cake with a strawberry swirl and a lemon and strawberry flavored icing poured on top. This recipe calls for 15 to 20 servings. It's a great cake to make during those spring or summer months and it is delicious. Hope you all will give this classic cake recipe a try.

Update 9/08/2023- Cut the number of frozen strawberries needed for recipe in half. Instead using the entire 1-pound as the recipe video calls for, cut that if half and you'll only need 1/2 pound of frozen strawberries thawed. All other ingredient amounts cooking, baking times etc remain the same. You can also add lemon and strawberry instant pudding into the cake batter. (If available) 1 or 2 teaspoons will do.

I made this cake 4 the boss ladies @ my job. I placed the batter in a heart shaped bundt pan & topped with icing & filled the center hole with glazed strawberries & lemon slices. Put the cake on a gold cake board in a pretty pink box. It was a huge hit! The boss ladies & my coworkers were SO happy...literally brightened their day & lifted the morale of the office. Only thing is they didn't believe me when I said that it was homemade 🤣. U R A CULINARY GENIUS, CHARLIE! ~Thanks.
