Welcome to episode FOURTEEN of the Xtreme Onechunk Ironman: Canifis Edition. I appreciate that it's a little bit different to other versions of this that you've probably seen in the past due to having to do a few quests before starting, however, I hope that you can enjoy seeing what is possible with an Xtreme Onechunk account starting in Morytania.

I agree with the others you don't need the bow for this chunk but you probably will need it in the future for webweaver.
And hopefully he'll have Kristyllia to speed it up by the time he gets Spindel/Venanatis

Would the extreme one chunk rules actually require him to create the Webweaver? I know he would be required to obtain the Fangs of Venenatis, but I don't know that creating the bow is required.

2:00 Since you have completed both chunk requirements, I don't think you should need to get another one to progress with your chunks. A second craw's bow would be nice to have in the Wildy PvM but a second one should not be required since you already completed the requirements initially and shouldn't get in the way of your chuck progression.

I don't think you need to get another bow for chunk completion. But you'll obviously need it later for webweaver.

I'd like to see you get another bow. But not necessarily before you roll a new chunk.
#1 priority is that you don't burn out, and the reprieve of a new chunk, might allow you to return to revs invigorated.
You'd also be welcome to risk the bow going forward, but i wouldn't recommend it, especially on mobile!
i pulled muscle today so having fray upload cheers my day. And no, you dont need to get another bow unless you really need it on later times. Outside that: dont need torture yourself when you got it already in log
I don't think that you need to get a second craws bow ..... for now. However, I think if you roll the Veninatis chunk or Spindle chunk, the chunk picker might have you try and and equip a Webweaver bow since you have the rev chunk unlocked.
need meds to do spindel, so he's safe from all the solo version bosses for now

I'll join the no need to get another bow crowd. You'll probably want it eventually again but you've done the chunk requirements regarding the bow as far as the rules are concerned. there's a good chance you'll get a dupe bow before hitting both viggoras and avarice anyway, good luck !

It is also a BIS item for the chunk so I think by extreme rules you would need it in the bank.

I honestly dont even think limpwurt would try and re obtain the craws bow in this situation.
Unlocking basically any farming patch gives you access to most of the tools btw, you can buy things like a rake and seed dibber from talking to whoever is the farmer nearby you would pay to protect your crops!

You technically don't need to get another but it feels wrong not to get it back, I'm on the fence about it. There will be one day where you go for the bosses and get the upgrades and then you just can't make the webweaver bow without the craws bow. Maybe go for craw's bow then? hard to say

I would say yes, you need to get another because it is your best in slot ranged weapon. If you finish the log without getting the second craws and you’re burnt out, I’d do what you want.

I agree with this take. Some chunk men don't have the BIS rule (which I honestly think is superior because there's little point to getting a dagger for mage bonus or similar), but since Fray has the BIS rule in place, I think he needs BIS in his possession to move on.
If the rules of the series were as stated in the video about clog, then there would be no need. However, that is not the case.
I also understand that people will try to be helpful by saying not to get it and move on, but I do think that the rules are quite clear: Get the damn bow back.

I honestly think its worth to skull up and take thammy back to hobgoblins. The time save is just too good and, as long as you aren't on mobile, im sure you are more than comfortable enough with just keeping prayer at full and suiciding if you have to for insurance. Love the series

Okay I'll bite. You got the clog, you're unlocked it and equipped it. If you need another one later, get it then when you've got better expendable gear.
Yeah I agree with majority of the comments, not required to get the Craw's bow again. When you need Webweaver it'll be time to re-grind.
As for the magic, i'd just wait till Thammaron's no point in grinding for no resson.
I love the leagues chunk, normal leagues stuff is over saturated but chunk leagues that is unique.
Seeing how you clarified it is a BIS later in the video, you absolute have to own one by the end of the chunk
gotta say i chuckled every time you said tarromin sceptre instead of thammaron sceptre, its just a funny idea that the legendary wilderness sceptre is made out of a common herb

You can start using your magic logs on fletching once you hit 80 too to potentially save yew logs for firemaking as needed.
Keep up the good work! And I think the rules are pretty clear: get the drop, equip the best in slot, check the box, and then you're free to lose/sell/whatever. On UIM they're constantly getting rid of uniques as they progress, just the way things go
I know a lot of people have already chimed in, but my opinion is normal greenlog to finish the chunk, but you'll need it for webweaver, so perhaps passively grind your it after the chunk so you won't be locked to revs again in the future.

Not only do I expect you to get a new Craw's bow before rolling a new chunk, but I also expect you to go after a third one as a forfeit for using the first one while skulled on mobile
To finish the chunk, no you dont need another bow. However once you unlock Venenatis, you will need one to make a webweaver.
Finally caught up! I dont believe you should have to get another craw's bow. But I say if you choose to get it for future grinds (rolling other chunks), and it may be useful than go for it. Im so happy you finally got another drop. Was hoping for the Mace to be honest. I want you to keep rolling obviously. I wanna see them barrows grinds! Loving the content keep it up brother!

No, at least now, you don't need to get another bow. Completing the chunk tasks while having it is enough. Compare this with a farming requirement; You need a seed to plant it, but you do not need to have it in your bank after completing it.

Btw you can get a tiny bit more magic attack bonus by using one of the hats from the shop in Canifis. It gives magic defence too so possibly a good idea to wear it in the rev caves while ranging anyway.

I would agree that you do not need a second craw's bow to tick off the chunk. You have already completed the requirement and I would much prefer to see the series move forward and you not burn out. I think the content is much more interesting if you can take risks with the uniques, and having to reacquire them when lost in wildy works against that.

Make sure to pop on mystic lore for magic defence to dodge freezes, maybe get another prayer level for mystic might
At this point, it's a nice to have requirement that you can stack on to your list. I wouldn't, but if your list for Venenatis/Spindel require you to make the upgraded bow, I think it would be easier to go back and get it then.
you HAVE to get the craws bow again. You have ZERO choice. However, you do not need to get it yet. You do not need to go for it again until you get the upgrade for it. So if you dont feel like grinding it before then, you dont have to.

I would argue, you should continue to go for it, but once the log is completed, you can reroll for a chunk. But since you completed the task, you are good to go.

Yeah the bow is already completed on the log, but it could be useful later on. I'd say just roll a new chunk and if you need it later come back at a later day.

If you still have any emblems you want to turn in eventually, you should do it right after the server update. No pk bots, and very few pkers at 7am est who are ready to log back in the second the server resets
I'd say you would not need another Craw's bow, until you finally unlock the webweaver. Before that point, you don't _need_ it, since you've completed the tasks already.
There's Ents north of Varrock - you can use the sceptre for faster kills there then harvest for FM logs.

As for chunks, another north Wilderness for Eternal Glory grind would be a disaster, I personally would like to see you get the Level 145 Dark Warriors fortress or the Canifis farming patch.

Defo for now not getting a new bow, Webweaver however, different story possibly? Could you add, after your chunk ramble at the end maybe add in some graphics to summarise? Also woudl love to hear your thoughts on future chunks and what grinds or preferred chunks you see youself getting! Would for me work well in a shorter but more frequent vid where you workout and explain some paths you see in the future! Keep grinding man, hoping you get that mace and amulet soon!

I know you're well past this point, but I think if I were to do this grind, I would have stuck with the normal wood bows the whole way though and banked all the ether possible for use at other wilderness bosses, and even outside the wilderness since a trident is far off. Also, for the werewolf agility grind, I would have used up those like 48k cooked meats. It would've been quite a bit slower, but its fun to put those weird banked supplies to use. It's fun to see how other play though, too.

You should do Fletching as soon as you can get to 80, since you can get bowstrings and start using magic short
