- You guys wanted it! Now you got it!
The Inside Thigh Sweep is one of my favorite sweeps from the clinch. It is highly effective and very explosive. Key Points to remember:
1. Your left hand will be around the back of your opponents head.
2. Your right hand will be inside of your opponents left bicep.
3.With your hands placed this way, you will be able to tilt your opponent to the left by pulling with your left hand and lifting up with your right arm.
4. Your right foot will step OUTSIDE of your opponents left foot.
5. Your left thigh or knee will lift up and hit the INSIDE of your opponents left thigh. SIMULTANEOUSLY, you will tilt your opponent to the left by pulling with your left hand and lifting up with your right arm. This will pull your opponent off balance and send them crashing to the mat.

I was struggling last muay thai class trying to do this. Now I found a video on how to do it; I can practice some more now. Awesome! Thank you!
That is one of the best compliments that one can get! Thanks!
Your videos are really helpful. Keep doing them!
Great technique I'll be sure to implement this tomorrow.
Lovely!!!!
Easy explanation. Thanks
Good shit
max holloway is that you
Siiiiiick
Would it give you more leverage to have your right hand under his left arm?
No, because then his left hand on would be on top, this would allow him to obtain the clinch position on that side. If you notice in the video, my right hand is on top of his bicep and my elbow is under his, this allows me to lift his arm up and have control over his arm and balance. Thanks for the comment!
the clinch is so confusing
Kinky Neko Music what you struggling with i can help
I went to a thai boxing gym, and got paired up with someone who tripped me up twice in the clinch, and there was no mats down. When i fell it knocked all the wind out of me, and the opponent didnt even check if i was ok. Sparring is not meant to be full on. I blame the instructor, begginers arnt meant to go up against people who have been training for ages, and if they do, they shouldnt go at you full pelt, it was a shit experience.
Sounds like you need a new school to train at.
