Just ordered one with a discount after consider some time between the Jones Aviator and the Slash ATV. I'll see how it goes in the Rockies. Coincidentally I also ride Deeluxe Aeris this year, it's a nice boot and works well in all conditions!
I hope you enjoy the board as much as I do. Keep me in the loop, I'm curious about your thoughts! :) 100%, big fan of the Aeris. I've also got a pair of the demons but I haven't had a chance to pull them out of the box!
Loving my slash boards my favorite so far is the happy place camber edition I wish the ATV came in smaller sizes 155 is a bit much for me but I still ride it for those deeper days! Can you do a ATV board set up video next ive been experimenting with different widths for binding placement
Doubting about getting the 157 or 159W I am 183cm and my weight is about 80kg Definitely want to have a board which is a bit wider, for powder and good carving in slushier conditions. My shoe size is 9/42 (in Europe) and I have medium bindings. I know that the 157 is already wider than a normal board. Maybe a 159W is too wide?
Anyone know if a 157 would work well with large union force bindings and size 10.5 burton swaths? Concerned about toe/heel overhang and debating between 157 or 159w.
I'd happily try and help you out! I have exactly the same boot size as you (US-10.5), and I found that a waist width of 256mm is just a bit to narrow unfortunately. I would advise you to buy the 159w (264mm waist width), you'll just have a better overall ride! How tall are you?
