Man you and Aaron are killing me with all these fresh meals . Gotta figure out a way to get a plate through these videos 🤣🤣 On point as always Clams and can't wait to see the next one !! Hope y'all have a great holiday weekend !!
Hey Clams Master Will, Glad to see you made it back home safely, nice lil snack vid and hope you have a great week brother, please say hi to momma Clams and as always, stay safe, stay awesome out there y'all👋😎👋
Welcome home! I make similar butterflied fish sandwiches with several types of fresh water panfish. The kids love them! Definitely Kewpie mayo for me amd mine. Thanks for sharing. Your recipes always inspire me.
Will, great video again. I'm gonna try this with a couple of the smaller grunts I get sometimes. I love the deconstructed tarter sauce feel of it. I'll let you know how it goes. Keep making great stuff!
You worked on the outro!!! Nicely done. Next stop…. The moon. I’ll be out in NYC in a few months from Oregon. Hoping to try out Greenpoint if the line isn’t around the block (we have limited time). Thanks for the great content man! Can’t wait for the next episode.
Another excellent fish and cook vid. Thank you. Difficult to know for sure from a quick look in a bucket, but probably a hickory shad. I catch a good number of those on the north shore of LI, and they are legal (limit 5).
@@CookingWithClams it’s crazy how different spices and sauces are from west coast to east coast. I live in Washington state an hour from the coast. The fishing and hunting is entirely different as well.
As far as Mayo, I use Dukes when I need a lot, but the best Mayo is Kewpie! I use Kewpie for everything, except egg salad or potato salad. Things that require more mayo bc Kewpie is kind of expensive.
@@CookingWithClams you got to make your own,,, that's the ticket. down in Galveston Texas we put coleslaw on everything...lol I want to see that recipe
Essentially yes that’s tarter sauce just needs a little lemon and vinegar. I was having a play on a Scandinavian and Dutch herring dish where it has diced onion and Gerkins on it
Ireland had sold a lot their fishing rights to Spain. So the tuna quota had been met. So when Captain Johnny caught that tuna it was in an illegal fish even though he was an Irishman fishing on his own grounds. He decided to keep the fish to make a point. The police were waiting for him at the dock, but so were the newspaper reporters. They let him have his moment, take some pictures and then arrested him.
@@CookingWithClams Such a cool story... I also have to say your sister is a Hottie... No disrespect to Her, Her Husband , or especially you...... But she is a Hottie...
Thanks for sharing the video Will
Just a quick one but still fun
Sometimes simple is the best 👌 good stuff again!
Thank you clay!
Enjoyed your cooking class, as usual. Thanks so much for being detail oriented. Fish sandwich looks delicious. Keep em coming.
Thank you! This was a short and sweet one
Love that place. Fished there with bamboo poles for snappers when I was little.
It is hands down one of my favorite places. You can catch so much there!

Grew up catching these. But never ate them, parents used to back in the day, whole fried. Thanks for bringing back the memories!
I try to go at least once a year and somehow it’s still as fun as it was as a kid. They’re actually really good eating as well

Love the comment - I'll take that over a McDs fish sandwich ! I will be trying this catch, clean, cook Thx !
Haha I don’t even know why that popped into my head
👍👍
Thank you!
✔ Nice. I'd like to see you do a Trout.. They are Tricky to cook. I did a CCC on Sunday with one. see ya on the next video.
I’m actually supposed to visit a trout farm this month!
@@CookingWithClams Oh that will be fun. Where at? Will you make a video?
Great video buddy, missing you in the keys. Also i would eat that chair arm over anything from McD's
Haha this is very true. People love their fast food though
Great content as always, and DUKES mayo all the way!
That’s 3 for dukes!
Catch, clean, cook & eat. Special flour and water makes the bread. What brand was the pickle relish?
Wickles relish! The best

Awesome video man. Best foods is the only Mayo I use. Everything else just has an off taste and consistency.
I’ve never even heard of it, I’ll try it out

@@CookingWithClams PS Hellmans sucks... LOL
Watch those snapper blues come out of the water chomping on anything that is there
As goofy as it is, it is SO much fun
It must be a Northern thing because I would have smashed that sandwich with some coleslaw...lol
I’ve never really been a slaw guy, on pulled pork yes but otherwise I never think ofit

Kewpie mayo but not the one that you find at the grocery store. You have to go to an Asian market and get the one in the plastic bag.
Oh yes, with the red cap
@@CookingWithClams You will never buy another type of mayo again. MSG baby!!!
Uncle Will why not mix the mayo onion and relish together before you put it on the bun

Dukes all day!

Ok I'm still waiting to hear about the Captain and his 9' fish ???
