Myself and Breeze had more than enough pace to win that one, but as we know, the Fords launch is below average, and against the RSR on the run to T1, it's hopeless. Then we just get run off the road by bad drivers getting stuck mid pack. Aero wash seems to affect the Ford worse than most due to the loss of rear tire width, so less grip at the rear already, coupled with now worse tire wear and aero wash it's very hard to move through average/bad drivers driving OP cars. The Ford GT is my favourite car and was great with the tune I had before the PI change but now it's very difficult, even with the tune being the best i can get. Any strengths the car had before are now pretty much eliminated by the low grip and horrendous tire wear, though beating scrubs in OP cars is even more satisfying.
Honestly, if it could go wrong, it did go wrong. Sometimes the rear steps out before the car even begins to turn, and when even the slightest bit of tire touches that outside grass, game over. Honestly I was so mad 😂
