I've only tried it with two products: the jane carter one I mentioned in this video and the shea moisutre sacha inchi curl smoothie. With the shea moisture product i got craaazy soft hair! I didn't get flaking with either, but it depends on how much you use, I think
The "glitter" is an illuminator. Although, you can't actually see the particles, they reflect light to make your hair look more lustrous and shiny.

I might have to pick this up. I'm not a big fan of ecostyler gel for wash n gos because of the flakes but I might have to try it
Eco Styler can definitely cause major flakes when I pair it with the wrong leave in! When I find the right one, tho??? It's great!
