@treadmillreviewguru 1750 has been on a close-out for a while now which I've been waiting for their revision to debut once close-out is over. Do you think they will come with a 20" instead of 22" like used to? What is your take on the issue of Nordictracks now being bricked due to faulty iFit updates forced? 1750 or 1250 or even 2450, are these safe to purchase????? I see class action lawsuits for bricked treadmills and just wondering if thousands of dollars would be going straight to a drain... Your response, of course, appreciated.
I could definitely see this to be a much more affordable option based on my budget. I do have one question though can I operate the machine without a subscription?
It works without a subscription, the features are limited. If you make a free iFIT account and connect to Wi-Fi, you get a few different onboard workout options. You can use it without an account or Wi-Fi and only train in manual mode.
Id like to see what the on board workouts are. Some people cant afford the 39 per month (going up to 44) that IFIT charges. Thats more than some gym memberships!
At Walmarts website they have individual membership for a year at 144. It's hard to find a yearly membership for individuals because they seem to want to rob you.
Do not get any NordicTrack treadmill! They delivered a 1750 to me that was defective. It felt like I was going to fall off. Customer service was horrible. They told me customers should it's NORMAL for that to happen. They made me pay a $450 fee in addition to the $250 fee I already paid to return it less than 24 hours after I had gotten it. I'd much rather pay the fee than keep a product that has a safety issue!
Best to purchase treadmills from Costco (in this case they have the NordicTrack 1250) or Amazon. They will take your returns with NO hassle (if something is not working)!
Bought a 1250 Nordic Track treadmill directly from Nordic Track. Took about a month to arrive and it was dropped off on the street beside the sidewalk. After hiring some help we got it in the house and near the end of assembly I had a swivel screen was frozen at 90%. So I reached out for help and they were going to sent me a part. Wait? What!? Their 3 month warranty is 3 months from DATE of purchase, parts were covered, but labour is described as help in telling you what to do, finding helpful videos, etc. COMPLETELY AND INTENTIONALLY MISLEADING. And by the time the part arrived my warranty had expired and they refused to do any “labour”. But I could pay a technician $150 for a quote. My recommendation is take a HARD PASS on this clearly shady company.

I am not buying , service is bad.
I’ve had a Nordic track for 20+ years and it still works great. My parents use it now and I’m getting a new one.
