None of the interviewers seem to be aware of Janet Guthrie, who competed for several years in sports car racing, qualified and ran in the Indy 500 and the Charlotte 600 in NASCAR. A very interesting life story. Hailie Deegan is a legitimate racer, she does run top quality cars and gets a lot out of them.
I love how they say she is the "only" female in NASCAR as well, guess Jennifer Jo Cobb isn't a female in NASCAR?

The biggest one they forgot about was Shawna Robinson who actually won 3 races in the Nascar Series and she raced in several different classes. She use to race a lot at my home track in Nashville TN. If they would do their research, theres been over 100 females that have raced in Nascar but Shawna was the only one to win until Hailie. I definately believe Hailie is the next big thing! She's an unbelievable, smart and talented driver and shes definately got more talent than a lot if not most of the drivers out there!

I met deegan after a fmx show and got to sit with the whole mulisha team while they signed autographs and I sat beside deegan. He was one of the nicest and coolest dudes I'd ever met! Everyone was in line for Matt Hoffman and Tony hawk and I could care less about meeting them lol

He is doing very well by his kids. Dangerboy is an up and comer also. Won 2019 Lorreta's 85cc 10-12. A lot of pure talent on both of those kids.
To compare to Danica was rude..Danica was a terrible driver. And terrible to everyone around her..blamed everyone else for her losing..never her driving. This girl is a deegan so she should be good...she is starting out strong .
You can't compare her driving to Danica. Not unless and until she makes it to Cup or Indy or other TOP level racing. I hope she becomes a superstar, but to claim she IS already is just silly.

She's ok. I get the impression she cares more about her brand than racing, like Danica. Hailie is smart about her brand, credit her father for that, but Hailie wants to be a better driver/racer.

To be fair Natalie has only been NASCAR a few months since they bought out ARCA lol. One of the two if not both will win in the cup series. Ive never met Deegan but Decker is a true sweetheart. Everyone should check out their UTube chanel. It's called "Deegan38". It's all about the Deegan kids and the sports they're into. Lots of videos of Haile and her brothers.
I see Hailie gaining some degree of success up to potentially the Xfinity level. Beyond that is anyone's guess. The world saw how Danica flopped at the highest level. So whoever throws big money behind her at the highest level better be dang sure she will be capable of success at the highest level. She does have a bit of a hardnosed style. She does drive for Toyota right now. So certainly those are good things to have on your side at this point. But is it all sustainable at the tippy top? I am not so sure. She is a cutie pie though. But I don't think that would stop any second place driver in Cup from running her high into the final turn to snatch a win from her grasp at any point.
Looking to see Hailie run in the Indy 500 and take #1 spot on the podium.
