If it's like fully dried, my personal tip is to soak some water on it for a few minutes and then go in with a paper towel to soak up most of what you can(repeat if it's that dried down). Then use hydrogen peroxide and a brush to really get it out. It should get rid of most of it but there could still be some stains left over. If it's a super small amount of blood, it should get rid of all of it.
Also digging a bar of ivory (don't know why it works best, but other soap doesn't) into that blood stain works well even if it's a bit dried. Now, MATTRESS stains are for Mean Green.

No enzymes are needed for hydrogen peroxide to decompose. It can decompose on its own if left outside its container. Blood just increases the rate of decomposition by acting at catalyst because of the Iron in blood that provides enough surface area to accelerate the reaction.
Those enzymes are called proxidases and breakdown proxides which are groups of compounds with an oxygen to oxygen bond. Hydrogen peroxide has 2 hydrogen and 2 oxygen molecules, H2O2. The proxidases cleaves an oxygen molecule off of H2O2 leaving behind H2O and O. Water and oxygen.
I literally used to clean, wash open wounds with that when I was little. Hurts like hells on some places may even burn a bit but overall healed quicker.

Both peroxide and blood have water in them as a base, water is 2 part hydrogen an 1 part oxygen, bubbles only formed when they mixed it up causing the reaction. I don't know i only took science in highschool over 20 years ago.

I also Started taking lugols iodine 5% in January, a few days before I started Hydrogen Peroxide. I take 6 drops just once a day in distilled water. No enzymes are needed for hydrogen peroxide to decompose. It can decompose on its own if left outside its container. Blood just increases the rate of decomposition by acting at catalyst because of the Iron in blood that provides enough surface area to accelerate the reaction.

Those enzymes are called proxidases and breakdown proxides which are groups of compounds with an oxygen to oxygen bond. Hydrogen peroxide has 2 hydrogen and 2 oxygen molecules, H2O2. The proxidases cleaves an oxygen molecule off of H2O2 leaving behind H2O and O. Water and oxygen.

Both peroxide and blood have water in them as a base, water is 2 part hydrogen an 1 part oxygen, bubbles only formed when they mixed it up causing the reaction. I don't know i only took science in highschool over 20 years ago.
