@@chriscravens8318 I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Florida lost a lot of offensive output from last year in Trask, Pitts, and Toney, but after last nights game I don’t have words, except he’s lost the team.
I’m a gamecock but Florida will be fine. That OLine from last year made Trask and the company look so good. God he got 10 seconds to throw the ball every play.
You need to be patient by Mullen, he is a great coach, if you fired Mullen you will change head coach every 2 year like Tennesse since the great Fulmer, is that what you want? Orgeron is a great coach at LSU, he won the National Title is 2019 and they fired him, totally ridiculous.

UF started their football program in 1906. The team was irrelevant from 1906 to 1990. They were consistently good from 1991 to 2010 (all of their conference and national titles are from this period). They've had good and bad years since. But, they think that the period from 1991-2010 is their "normal," ignoring the prior 84 years of not even a single conference championship and the lack of anything significant in the last 11 years.

I know I'm an FSU fan, but it really upsets me to see that most of the teams here in Florida are struggling. The fact that Miami right now has the best record of any major football school in the state and they are 5-4 makes me very upset. I have lived in this state my whole life and all of these schools I have grown up with. We take some serious pride in football here, to see all of these schools struggle really saddens me.

I stated Brown should've been the guy from the moment he transferred. Most said "He played in a lesser conference" as if the others were prominent SEC guys. Pocket presence, stature, big arm, solid footwork, and keeps his eyes down field. Should've played since Day 1.

They're leaving the state to go play for schools like Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas, etc. Florida State, Florida, and Miami get the scraps of the remaining Florida talent and actually have to go out of state to find recruits. The landscape of college football recruiting has changed so much in the past 10 years.

This was the most embarrassing loss for the Florida Gators this seasson. How does one team go from almost beating a #1 team (Alabama) to losing to one of the worst teams int he SEC (South Carolina)? Unbelievable!
Florida lost to to Kentucky. Kentucky only beat SC by 3. Tennessee beat Kentucky by 3 but whooped SC. If SC is one of the worst then the other teams I mentioned are right there as well.

After seeing this game can someone explain to me how Luke Doty beat out both Jason Brown and Zeb Noland?
@Bulbasaur there is a UA-camr named Pat Coltrain and in this situation he'd blame the Southern Mafia.
Regarding Doty, I think that decision was based off Beamer trying to build something around youth. He knows he has Doty for at least two more years, and Brown was eligible as a redshirt senior only one year if he got the starts. Then Beamer, in his second year as head coach and expected to make progress, is dealing with a new QB. But now because Brown started in the 9th game of the year, he's eligible to play next year too I think. So now he has Doty working during the offseason to get better, and will backup Brown in 2022 if that situation works out. I could be wrong in my line of thinking (I'm no expert) and if Doty's year hadn't ended due to injury I'm not sure Brown would've gotten the start so I probably am wrong lol. But this all works out for Beamer for his second year because he'll have two QBs with game experience and hopefully have a good competition during the offseason.
I have no idea what happened with Noland lol. He won SC two games though. But Brown should be the guy moving forward, no question.

As a Gator fan South Carolina is such an unknown this year. In large part because this game is a bit of a head scratcher, Florida never really looked competitive especially defensively but saying Florida beat themselves isn't true as SCar came to play. How far was mullen on the way out? Just how much effort did he actually put into a game plan? I just looks at this game, especially early on, and can't help but think some consistent running and decent defense and Florida could have definitely kept this a game. I feel like people are really sleeping on SCar as well, in my opinion they should be the ones getting all the hype that Tennessee has right now. All I know is it should be an exciting race to 2nd in the east.

The end of the first half really reminded me of Adrian Martinez.
It’s one thing to be down a year, but this team is down bad. The SEC will remind you too because everyone will kick you while you’re down if you’re not ready to fight. I just don’t see any way Mullen can get this team to recover from this moving forward also into next season. If Grantham isn’t gone, they’ll quit again.

Who put together this highlight video? Some unpaid, 16 y/o intern? Didn’t show SC stopping Florida on 4th down, only showed 2nd and goal at the end of the game and then all of a sudden Florida has the ball, poor selection of clips, cutting off in the middle of the announcers’ comments, etc, etc. Terrible! Get it together ESPN.
How are still getting destroyed on counters?? We looked real porous 2day.
And all the arm and miss tackles had us looking like Pop Warner team.
South Carolina played us so much better than we played them and we were out-coached. period. Between the Florida HC and DC, they really let that roster full of talent down, including the fans. Talent with poor coordination and development means little to nothing. Congrats Gamecocks, it was definitely earned! There were a few obnoxious fans(as with any team in any sport), but most of them were very cool people actually. Nothing like most GA fans 😉😂
