I got the carbon rod first, then the magnet rod from just fishing in the ocean till I got 15k. I think the magnet is the best for getting money at that point. Then I used that at snowcap until I got the mythic. I then got 80+k with it from forsaken and left. My cousin told me there was an aurora so I went back, got the last few thousand and went looking for a strange Whirlpool which only appeared a minute before the day changed lol. Jumped in, bought the aurora rod right before it disappeared. Then I used that until I got the rod of the depths.
Yeah that works too it’s just that the magnet rod is very boring to play with grinding at sunstone forever. I prefer to grind for longer but in other places. I’m level 95 and still dont have aurora rod yet lol.
@leokarasovia not sunstone, Snowacap, sunstone only gives quality bait crates. It's boring with the steady as well anyway, it doesn't have the luck stat to finish bestiaries, nocturnal is much better for that.
@ that’s what I’m saying, you only get quality bait crates at Sunstone so that’s why it’s boring. This rod progression is just what I did if you watch the video to the end you would’ve known that you can alter it however, you want.
@@leokarasovia what I'm saying is that you shouldn't go to sunstone with the magnet rod unless you're farming qbc for later, snowcap gives carbon crates, common crates, bait crates and fish barrels which will give a lot more money and also help to finish angler missions. Which makes it much faster to jump straight to the mythic rod. Plus you'd have the magnetic rod to get the baits for bestiary completion. The speed at which it gets money makes it less boring than having to stick with a nocturnal rod or steady rod for almost twice the time. My cousin used the nocturnal rod and I got rod of the depths before he even got the aurora and mythic rods along with also buying the nocturnal rod on the way.
@ Alr all I’m saying is it for me? I got really tired of fishing for crates really quickly. It is more fun to just fish in different spots, even though it does take a lot longer. And I did not know that snow cap gave those crates so thank you for telling me.
